Raku is pushed into a pretend romantic engagement with Chitoge Kirisaki, the beautiful daughter of the Bee Hive’s leader, in order to bring the two opposing families together. To keep their families at bay, they must learn to live together and act as if they are truly in love.
2. 5-toubun no Hanayome
Fuutarou Uesugi is an outstanding high schooler who endures a difficult existence. His distant personality and reclusive nature have left him without friends, and his father is in debt, forcing his family to scrape out a living.
Uesugi had an argument with a female transfer student who claimed “his seat” during his lunch break, causing both of them to loathe each other.
On the same day, he is offered a once-in-a-lifetime chance to pay off his family’s debt: a private tutoring job for a wealthy family’s daughter, paying five times the market rate. He accepts the proposal but is shocked to learn that the client, Itsuki Nakano, is the same girl he had previously confronted!
After failing to win Itsuki’s favor, Uesugi discovers that his struggles are far from over: in addition to Itsuki, he must also instruct her four sisters—Miku, Yotsuba, Nino, and Ichika—who, despite the very real threat of failing, refuse to have anything to do with a tutor. However, because his family’s livelihood is on the line, Uesugi perseveres, firm in his determination to break the sisters’ aversion to studying and guide them to graduation.
3. Kanojo mo Kanojo
After one of his innumerable confessions is finally accepted by his childhood friend Saki Saki, Naoya Mukai is having an absolute blast. He spares no effort in pouring affection on his now beloved partner, ensuring that their connection would remain strong.
After months of planning, another girl named Nagisa Minase shocks Naoya by confessing to him one afternoon. Nagisa’s magnetic charisma and persistence continue to lure Naoya, despite his courteous rejection.
Naoya proposes a ridiculous plan to meet both Saki and Nagisa’s desires: dating them both at the same time, with both girls fully aware. Whatever they do to keep their strange relationship going, this unprecedented state of affairs eventually leads to wacky and entertaining scenarios.
4. Domestic na Kanojo
Natsuo Fujii’s teacher, Hina, is the love of his life. Natsuo attends a mixer with his friends in an attempt to forget about his feelings for her when he meets an eccentric girl named Rui Tachibana.
Rui urges Natsuo to sneak away with her and perform her favor in an unusual turn of events. To his shock, their destination is Rui’s home, where she has asked him to have sex with her. She isn’t motivated by love; she merely wishes to learn from the experience. Natsuo reluctantly agrees, thinking that it will distract him from his feelings for Hina.
Natsuo now has a new difficulty as a result of his unusual encounter. He gains a new set of stepsisters as a result of his father’s remarriage; he’s all too familiar with these two young ladies, unfortunately. Hina and Rui are his new siblings, he quickly finds! As he approaches adulthood, Natsuo finds himself in an unexpected love triangle, living with both the teacher he cherishes and the girl with whom he had his “first time.”
5. Golden Time
Tada Banri, a recently admitted student at a Tokyo-based private law school, became hopelessly confused after the opening ceremony while attempting to locate the freshmen orientation. He then ran into another lost freshman from the same school, Yanagisawa Mitsuo, and the two instantly hit it off.
A beautiful girl bearing a bouquet of roses appeared in front of the two as they arrived at their destination on time. The girl then smacked Mitsuo in the face with the bouquet before handing him the flowers. She only said, “Freshman, congratulations,” and then she was gone. Kaga Kouko, Mitsuo’s childhood friend, was the elegant, well-dressed woman who had swung at him.
They had promised each other as children that they would marry one day and live out their dreams. Mitsuo had gone out in secret to take the entrance exam for this well-known private college in order to escape from her, but now she had shown up at the freshman orientation hall. She had taken the law school entrance exam as well, and she had caught up with him there.
6. Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai
Due to its rarity and inexplicability, Puberty Syndrome is thought to be a myth. It’s a rare condition that only affects teenagers, and the symptoms are so strange that few people acknowledge it as real. Sakuta Azusagawa, a high school student, has witnessed firsthand how real it is and that it is widespread, it is at his school.
A third-year high school student, Mai Sakurajima rose to fame as a child actress in her youth but recently halted her promising career for reasons that are unknown to the general public. Her unapproachability is well-known across the school, but no one dares to approach her—until Sakuta spots her strolling through the library dressed as a bunny girl.
No one seems to notice her despite her appearance, and when he approaches her, he realizes she is a victim of Puberty Syndrome. Sakuta’s activities bring him into contact with more girls afflicted with the elusive disease as he tries to aid Mai through her plight.
7. Tonikaku Kawaii
Nasa Yuzaki has spent his life trying to be recognized for something other than his bizarre name. He seemed to be heading in the correct direction, fortunately, having placed top in the nation’s mock examinations and being accepted into his preferred high school.
Everything changes one night, though, when he sees a girl across the street on his way home. Nasa is captivated by her overpowering cuteness and falls in love at first sight. However, in his enamored daze, he misses the oncoming danger rushing down the road and finds himself on the verge of death.
Nasa musters the courage to express his love for her, despite the fact that he is barely alive thanks to the girl’s intervention. She accepts his proposal on one condition: marriage, which Nasa joyfully accepts before succumbing to his injuries. However, when he wakes up, the girl is nowhere to be found.
Nasa abandons his prior objectives after recuperating from his injuries and dedicates his life to finding the girl who has grabbed his heart, but several years pass without success. Nasa is confronted with a woman who would forever change his life when an unexpected visitor knocks on his door one night.
8. Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san
Hayase Nagatoro, a senior in high school, enjoys spending her free time bullying her Senpai! After witnessing the aspiring artist’s drawings, Nagatoro and her friends enjoy ruthlessly bullying the shy Senpai.
Nagatoro intends to keep up her cruel game, paying Senpai daily visits to push him to do whatever she wants, even if it makes him uncomfortable.
Senpai’s interests, hobbies, appearance, and even personality are used against him as she amuses herself at his expense, slightly aroused and partially terrified of Nagatoro. Senpai gradually finds that he doesn’t mind Nagatoro’s presence, and the two forms an uneasy friendship as each patiently bears the antics of the other.
9. Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet
Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet takes place at Dahlia Academy Boarding School, where students come from the “Principality of West” and the “Nation of Touwa,” two rival countries. This academy divides its students into two dorms based on their nationality: the “Black Dogs” house Touwa students, and the “White Cats” house Western students.
Romio Inuzuka, who is the 1st Year Leader of the “Black Dog Dormitory,” is the protagonist of the story. Since childhood, Romio has had an unrequited love for Juliet Persia, the 1st Year Leader of the “White Cat Dormitory.” Romio, initially hesitant, decides to express his love for Juliet and vows to transform the world if it means remaining by her side.
Romio’s determination impresses Juliet, and she accepts his love. Romio and Juliet must now work hard to keep their romance hidden from their fellow dormmates while avoiding trouble.
10. Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.
Due to traumatic past experiences in his social life, Hachiman Hikigaya, a student at Soubu High School, is a cynical loner. He eventually developed “dead fish eyes” and a distorted attitude comparable to that of a petty criminal as a result of this.
He submits an essay that condemns the mentality of youths, believing that the concept of youth is a falsehood put up by youngsters who face their shortcomings in denial. Shizuka Hiratsuka, his homeroom teacher, is irritated by his submission and pushes him to join the Volunteer Service Club, a club that helps students address their issues in life in the hopes that assisting others will improve his demeanor.
The school’s most beautiful girl, Yukino Yukinoshita, is, however, the club’s only member and a loner, albeit colder and smarter than Hikigaya. When Yui Yuigahama joins after being helped with her struggle, their group quickly grows, and they begin to accept more requests.
Hikigaya seeks to tackle problems in his own unique way as a recluse, but his techniques may prove to be a double-edged sword.
11. Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun
The “game of life” is the worst game in existence, according to Fumiya Tomozaki, one of Japan’s top gamers. Despite his status as the best player in the video game Attack Families, Tomozaki describes himself as a “bottom-tier” character in real life.
He suffers from a complete loss of self-esteem as a second-year high school student, prompting him to completely abandon his efforts to improve himself as a person. Instead, he accuses the real world of being hopelessly unbalanced, with no rational means to raise your character’s level.
Aoi Hinami is a popular girl in Tomozaki’s class who gets excellent scores. She embodies the ideal heroine and is the polar opposite of Tomozaki’s social status. However, following an accidental encounter with Hinami, Tomozaki finds that she isn’t quite so great!
So begins a dramatic and romantic story of Tomozaki’s attempts to master the game of life with Hinami’s help.
12. Koi to Uso
In a futuristic society, Japan has devised a complex system known as “The Red Threads of Science” to encourage successful marriages and offset dwindling birth rates.
Young people at the age of 16 are allocated marriage partners by the government based on compatibility calculations, with harsh consequences for those who disobey the arrangement. This approach may be Yukari Nejima’s best chance at living a satisfying life, as he considers himself average in every manner.
Yukari breaks the system and proclaims his love for Misaki Takasaki, a classmate, and long-time crush. Misaki responds to his sentiments in a passionate moment after some initial hesitancy.
Unfortunately, Yukari receives his marriage notice before the two may continue their relationship. When his less-than-enthused designated companion, Ririna Sanada, gets fascinated by his illicit romance, he is plunged into a complex web of love and lies.
