The ability to write this post on genuine paper a few decades ago would not have been feasible if it weren’t for the efforts of loggers and lumberjacks all around the world. The majority of people don’t know much about the logging industry beyond that one basic fact, though. Our civilization is practically made on wood, yet the average person only sees the results of logging when they buy something. Thank goodness for reality television programs like “Big Timber” that reveal the history behind the paper and boards we buy at the neighborhood hardware store.
The 2020 History channel documentary “Big Timber” centers on the Wenstob family’s logging operation, which is led by legendary Canadian lumberjack Kevin Wenstob. More recently, the first season of the program gained renewed interest on Netflix, making it to the site’s trending page. Fans are already speculating as to whether Season 2 of “Big Timber” will feature additional footage of the lucrative logging industry.
If “Big Timber” gets a second season, viewers will undoubtedly recognize some of the cast members when it eventually airs. Kevin Wenstob, the key figure in charge of logging operations, is the most visible of these. In addition, Erik Wenstob, Kevin’s son and go-to mechanic, will probably return for the second season as one of the main members of his father’s crew. Sarah Fleming, Kevin’s wife and devoted business partner, completes the Wenstob family.
Kevin keeps people like Coleman Willner around in addition to the primary trio of the Wenstob family to get the work done. These four have established a reputation as one of Canada’s remaining independent forestry companies. There is little question that fans will see these four return to the group if “Big Timber” is given a second chance.
The release of Big Timber season 2 on Netflix on July 13th couldn’t be better than this. Since the first season of the reality TV program debuted in October 2020, a wide range of fans have undoubtedly been anticipating the show with great interest.
