Headed to both USA and SYFY this coming Fall, the unique Child’s Play franchise is returning with Don Mancini‘s ‘Chucky.’ It is a brand new series positioned on the iconic killer doll.SYFY released a short new teaser video for Chucky’s television debut and highlighted some behind-the-scenes recordings of a new animatronic being built for the show.
The stars and the creator
Fiona Dourif, Brad Dourif, and Jennifer Tilly will star in the series. The creators are Nick Antosca and Don Mancini. The cast also has Devon Sawa. ‘Chucky’ has been labeled as a new take on the franchise that will discover Chucky’s charm with a complexity exclusively afforded by the television series set-up.

About the series
The story of the series is after an antique Chucky doll goes up at a residential plot sale. A peaceful American town is terrified into disorder as a series of depressing murders begin to represent the town’s insincerities and confidences. Meanwhile, the arrival of opponents and associates from Chucky’s past reveals the fact behind the killings. The demon doll’s indescribable ancestries as a usual child who somehow became this disreputable gigantic monster.
