Classroom of the Elite was first aired in 2017 and received a positive response from viewers. The school-based anime comes from a light novel written by Shogo Kinugasa. ShunsakuTomose has illustrated the series.
The series explores the academic competition amongst students to earn more points and improve their class rank. The students are categorized in classes ranging from A to D, according to their performance. The points earned act as currency, using which the students can fulfill their basic requirements. The four classes also compete with one another.
The anime plot revolves around the protagonist Kiyotaka Ayanokouji, who is a student on transfer. For completion of tasks, the individuals make alliances with their classmates. Suzune Horikita, an intelligent girl, with a sharp brain, teams up with Kiyotaka. The performance of teams affects the class rank. Poor results can bring down the overall classroom rank, or even the class can get ruled out from the competition.
WHEN THE SECOND SEASON WILL RELEASE?
The next season of the famous school anime- Classroom of the Elite, will be aired in July 2022. The first season of the show was launched in 2017. Season one received huge love from anime fans. To cool down fans wait, the season second is on its way to being released very soon this July.
After season second, another season- Season 3, is also in talk to be released next year. The season to be released will solve the mysteries left open at the end of season one.
WHERE TO WATCH THE SEASON SECOND OF CLASSROOM OF THE ELITE?
The first season was released on Crunchyroll and Funimation. The second season will be released on Crunchyroll. OTT platforms like Netflix will also stream the series. The dubbed version will be streamed on the OTT platform -Netflix.
Season 2 whole production and direction are being handled by the same group –Studio Lerche. Hence, the quality of the content would be maintained like in season one.
Viewers will see their favorite same cast of season one. Shouya Chiba and Yurika Kubo who gave voice to Kiyota Ayanokouji and KikyouKushida will be seen in the season second as well.
WHAT IS CLASSROOM OF THE ELITE SEASON 2 ABOUT?
In the first season of the Classroom of the Elite, we saw the tough competition amongst individuals and classes. The students were very attentive towards their overall performance, as it’d help them earn points, using which they can buy their required things. Our protagonist Kiyotaka Ayanokoji teams up with his classmate- Suzune Horikita. The beauty with brains, however, turns out to be not so reliable when her real identity is unfolded.
We saw in season one that Ayanokouji uses his clever tactics to convince people. In the season second also he’ll be using his sharp observation skills to perform well in his task and earn more points. Season 2 will continue from part 4 of the light novel written by Shogo Kinugasa. Season one left the fans wondering about our protagonist’s past. It is hoped that season second will resolve the mysteries about Ayanokouji.
The season second will also focus on other characters of the series like- Kikyo Kushida, Airi Sakura, Kei Karuizawa, and KakeruRyuen. There will be more tension amongst the students as the competition will get tougher. It will also be revealed in the series that weather Ayanokouji will be able to improve his class rank or not. Currently, in class D, the viewers are excited about their hero’s performance. It will be known through season second who all can survive the cut-throat competition and make it to the universities, though the number of announcements for the season second has not been announced.
