This is another addition to the creature feature horror sub-genre. Throughout the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, Creature Features was a generic label for a type of horror television format shows that aired on local U.S. television stations. Classic and cult horror films from the 1930s to 1950s, horror and science-fiction films from the 1950s, British horror films from the 1960s, and Japanese “big monster” films from the 1960s and 1970s were all included under this sub-genre.
