11 Darkest Moments Of Batman Animated series – Explored – This Cartoon Show Changed Batman Forever

It is no secret that Batman: The Animated Series has been a huge hit. It was one of the most popular cartoons of the 1990s, and seeing some of Batman’s best storylines animated was simply incredible. In terms of popularity, it still holds its own today.

Despite the fact that the series was developed for children’s pleasure, it was not afraid to explore darker, more mature issues for its audience, as DC did seek to appeal to a more mature audience at times.

The series delves into topics where the villains battle serious mental problems while doing their atrocities in multiple episodes. Even Batman appears to be depressed, as he wallows in sadness over his misfortunes. We see strained father-son interactions and a narrative of a thirty-year-old lady locked in the body of a five-year-old, which is similar to the scary horror film Orphan, despite the fact that their premise is vastly different.
