NBC News’ award-winning news magazine will run an eight-part series including fresh new reporting and never-before-seen tales.
Every murder investigation in the new NBC News series, starring Keith Morrison, Josh Mankiewicz, Stephanie Gosk, and Andrea Canning, will center on the victim’s final day.
According to a press release, viewers will be taken through the final hours of a victim’s life as detectives relive key moments and decisions in the search for information to solve the case.
Senior producers on the new NBC News series, which also stars Corvo and Cole, will be Charmian Ling, Paul Ryan, and Allison Orr. Last year, Dateline celebrated its 30th season, a remarkable milestone.

The newest Dateline series is coming to Peacock! The streaming service said on Saturday that Dateline: The Last Day, its first-ever original Dateline series, would premiere on June 14.
Peacock offers three tiers: a free restricted version, a $5 monthly subscription with advertisements, and a $10 monthly subscription sans commercials.
You can only watch a certain amount of content on the free tier. Peacock, for example, only makes a few episodes of its original shows available for free, with the remainder being locked behind a paywall. Only one episode of Yellowstone and the first two seasons of The Office are available for free users. While many movies are available on the free tier, some of the most popular and recent titles are unavailable until you upgrade. This limited free tier gives you access to around two-thirds of Peacock’s entire movie, current season TV, TV classics, curated daily news, sports, Hispanic content, and curated channels library.
Moreover, practically all live sports on Peacock are behind a paywall. That means you’ll have to pay to watch NFL Sunday Night Football, Premier League events, or live Olympics programming.
The premium levels are essentially all-access tickets to the service’s entire collection. Peacock Premium is $5 per month or $50 per year with advertising, or you can pay $10 per month or $100 per year for ad-free reading (this Premium Plus tier is also the only one that lets you download to watch offline).
In the tiers with advertising, there should be no more than five minutes of adverts every hour.
