The third part of Disney’s renowned “Magic Quest” specials, “Disney’s Summer Magic Quest,” will premiere with “ZOMBIES 3” actors Meg Donnelly, Pearce Joza, Kylee Russell, and Matt Cornett competing in a fun battle royal with new tremendous obstacles.
The quest will take place after dark inside EPCOT at WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort as part of The World’s Most Magical Celebration, which marks Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. The stars will compete in a series of exciting new challenges and hurdles throughout a number of famous and immersive EPCOT attractions, hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown (“Big Shot”), who also hosted “Disney’s Holiday Magic Quest” in December.
The summer crusade will take our opponents to the classic spots of EPCOT, where the unthinkable becomes achievable, in this “Magic Quest” expedition. The two teams will compete in all four EPCOT neighborhoods, including “World Showcase,” which features 12 unique country experiences; “World Discovery,” which focuses on space adventures; “World Nature,” which celebrates Earth’s natural beauty; and “World Celebration,” which focuses on the history of innovations.
The contestants will also have first-look access to the all-new Wonders of Xandar Pavilion, including the “Guardians of the Galaxy”: Cosmic Rewind attraction, as well as an insider’s view at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. As the two teams race against the time to accomplish their objective before sunrise, expect to see unexpected moments and special guests. In honor of the victorious team, a donation will be made to the Special Olympics in support of their aim to empower athletes of all abilities.
Previous installments of the show, dubbed “Disney’s Holiday Magic Quest,” aired on Disney Channel in December 2020 and 2021 and featured cast members from the “ZOMBIES” franchise. On Disney+, both specials are presently accessible to watch.
