The Blind Man has been hiding out in a lonely cabin for years in Don’t Breathe 2, where he has taken in and nurtured a young girl orphaned by a home fire.
Fede Alvarez released the dramatic home invasion film Don’t Breathe in 2016, which follows a group of friends who break into the home of the “Blind Man”, who appears to be an easy target but is anything but. Lang’s character is an army veteran whose life’s ambition is to reclaim the daughter who was snatched from him.

The trailer opens with a young girl fleeing from a dog and eventually being apprehended by the Blind Man, but it turns out to be a practise run. The girl is the Blind Man’s new daughter figure, and it won’t be long until his home is once again attacked. This time, it appears that the invaders are actively on the lookout for the girl, who was likely taken by Lang’s character. When a bunch of kidnappers shows up and kidnaps the girl, the Blind Man is forced to leave his safe haven to save her.
It appears that the second portion of Don’t Breathe 2 will take to the road and abandon the cramped environment of a house entirely, with the Blind Man taking centre stage this time. It’s an intriguing strategy, with the goal of making Lang’s character a horror icon. Remember that the icons of the past weren’t always the nice people.

After grossing over $150 million worldwide in 2016, the franchise returns with Don’t Breathe 2, directed by Rodo Sayagues, co-writer of Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe.
Don’t Breathe 2 is set to hit theatres on August 13, 2021, with Stephen Lang reprising his role as the “Blind Man,” who survived the events of the 2016 film.
