The animated series Dragons Rescue Riders: Heroes of the Sky returns with the third season in 2022. The show subverts the logic of the Dragons franchise by presenting human children created by dragons instead of dragons domesticated by humans. In Season 3, we follow Dak, Layla, and their dragons as they get involved in new excitements of adventures that repeatedly prove that teamwork is the key to success.

What is Dragons Rescue Riders: Heroes of the Sky: Season 3 (2022) all about?
Chief Ingrid of the neighboring island Guttsgalor arrives looking for the ceremonial goblet, and the Rescue Riders must find where Duggard hid it before a battle breaks out between the two islands. After Elbone goes missing, the Rescue Riders find his boat near an island covered with unusual crystals. When they searched for him inside a cave, they discovered the effects of crystals.
The friends are trapped indoors during a snowstorm; Leyla recounts how she met Summer. While trapped, they also discover that the crystals can be used to amplify their dragon powers, which comes in handy when they finally escape and have to face Chief Ingrid in a duel. The story ends with Chief Ingrid being defeated and the goblet safely returning to Dragon Island.

With the help of the crystals, the Rescue Riders are able to find Elbone and return the goblet to Chief Ingrid, averting a war between the two islands.
