In this week’s Snake In The Grass episode, four competitors gave it their all to succeed in the challenges since doing so would help them learn more about who the Snake was. Wyatt makes the decision to accuse Sam of having flown overseas while Xavier and Elektra say they have never left the nation before. Xavier accuses Wyatt of being defensive and making accusations, so he flips the situation around on him. Sam and Elektra continue to forge closer bonds while they camp, but they’re still uncertain about who the Snake might be.
They are taken to a river for the second task, where they find a box with the key to the last Snake clue at the bottom of the river. To remove the box’s chains and pull it out, the crew must use the provided tools. Wyatt and Xavier argue, and Sam makes a mistake by tossing the wrong rope into the river. Despite these setbacks, they manage to open the box and succeed in the challenge.
The last hint says, “The Snake applauded in a gym with pom poms and spirit, but when in a group won’t go out on a limb.”
Elektra admits at the Snake Pit that Sam had told her previously that she was a cheerleader. While Sam tries to persuade Elektra that it isn’t her and zeroes in on Xavier as a potential Snake, the others concur that Sam seems to suit the evidence the best. Sam has three votes, though.
Then Elektra is shown to be the true Snake.
