We’re all excited for Evil Dead: The Game, which should come as no surprise. The question is, when will it be released? When we got our first look at the game last month, there was no indication of a release date, and much of the conjecture sees it coming out this year. However, according to Bruce Campbell, the guy himself, we may have to wait a little longer.
We got a sneak peek at the brand-new game’s gameplay earlier, and it looks fantastic. There’s a lot of blood and gore in this game, and there are a lot of different modes and ways to play it.

Campbell was asked about Evil Dead: The Game during a Q&A session at the Fingerlakes Drive-In in Auburn, New York on Friday night to promote the 40th anniversary of the original Evil Dead. The game is set to be released in February 2022, according to Campbell. The reason behind this, according to Bruce, is that Saber Interactive wants to do “one improvement” to make the game as “bitchin’ as any other game out there.
When queried about the 2022 release date, Bruce explained that the trouble with these games is that they are made and then the platform becomes obsolete.Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive have yet to comment on the release date or confirm what Bruce has claimed.
Evil Dead: The Game is being developed for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
