We got to know that the creators set a new release date to allow the team more time to develop the game and ensure it’s the ultimate Evil Dead experience we’ve all been waiting for. The creators also sent out a tweet explaining that with this extra time, they will be able to incorporate a single-player mode that will allow us to experience the game without our co-op buddies.

They also said that they appreciate everyone’s patience and support, and asked fans to please stay tuned for more information about new character upgrades, pre-order availability, and the upcoming gameplay video with Bruce Campbell.

In addition to Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, Ellen Sandweiss as Cheryl Williams, Marcus Gilbert as Arthur, Richard DeManincor as Scotty, Ray Santiago as Pablo Simon Bolivar, and Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly Maxwell are also featured.

Evil Ash from Army of Darkness will be included in the game, allowing you to play as either the heroes or the evil Kandarian Demon.

For the first time ever, the Evil Dead world comes together in one over-the-top experience starring boomstick-wielding, chainsaw-wielding horror hero Ashley J. Williams, said Boss Team. Boss Team Games has teamed up with Renaissance Pictures, STUDIOCANAL, leading entertainment company Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM), and global content leader Lionsgate to create this one-of-a-kind game that pits players against the forces of evil unleashed by the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, with sights and sounds inspired by the films and the STARZ original series.
