    A Bloody Massacre Awaits You In Fear Street Part 2: 1978

    The official trailer for the second movie in the Fear Street trilogy, which will be released this week, has just been posted by Netflix. Part 2 of Fear Street: 1978 Trailer turns Camp Nightwing into a horrific bloodbath.

    Netflix has published a new trailer for Fear Street Part 2: 1978, following the broadcast of the first chapter. Fear Street is a trilogy of films based on R.L. Stine’s original horror novels set in three different historical periods. Fear Street Part 1: 1994, the first instalment, was released on July 2 and received positive reviews from critics and horror aficionados. Netflix has released a new trailer, teasing the release of chapter two this week.

    The movie is directed by Leigh Janiak from a screenplay co-written with Zak Olkewikz. It’s based on Olkewicz, Phil Graziadei, and Janiak’s original storey. Olivia Welch, Emily Rudd, Ryan Simpkins, Ashley Zukerman, Gillian Jacobs, Kiana Madeira, and Jordana Spiro star in the film.

    In 1978, Camp Nightwing is divided by the campers and counsellors from the prosperous town of Sunnyvale and the campers and maintenance staffers from the downtrodden town of Shadyside, but when horrors from their shared history come alive, they must band together to solve a terrifying mystery before it is too lateaccording to the premise for Fear Street Part 2: 1978.

    Fear Street Part 1: 1994, directed by Janiak and co-written by Graziadei, was the first instalment. The film, set in the 1990s, follows a group of teens who learn that the horrible incidents that have plagued their town for generations may all be linked, and that they could be the next victims.

    The first Fear Street novel, written by R.L. Stine, was published in 1989. The books were geared at a more mature audience than the Goosebumps books. The immensely successful book series has sold over 80 million copies. Leigh Janiak has been a part of the adaptation process since it began in 2017.

    The first instalment was a good watch so we can’t wait for part 2!
