Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 is finally here, after what seems like an eternity of waiting for new episodes. We recently got a sneak peek at what we may expect when it premieres on October 17th, 2021.
June and John Sr. are trapped in what appears to be a serial killer’s hideout in the first of two new segments. We witness them investigating the “den” and uncovering chains, handcuffs, bloodstained walls, and other horrible instruments of the trade. We don’t learn much else, but we do know that these two made it through Season 6’s blade, though who knows how long they’ll be able to survive this new horror.

SPOILER ALERT – We watched most of the characters scatter after the nukes went off, either in ashes or sheltering far enough away from the blast to actually survive. Clearly, J.D. and June will play major roles in the upcoming season. Will they both be able to get out of this jail cell and is it possible that they are being held captive by someone we know?
With The Walking Dead set to finish in August, there are a few other zombie spin-offs to keep us entertained. The second season of The Walking Dead: World Beyond, as well as a new Carol & Daryl show, are on the way. And, of course, there’s Rick’s long-awaited film, which is still in the works.
One thing is certain: a new big villain could be on the way in the guise of a familiar figure, Strand. Strand isn’t afraid to take risks and do whatever it takes to stay alive, even if it involves killing individuals, he “loves.”
Whatever happens, we know that this show isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. We also know that many of the important players are still alive, even though they are currently incarcerated in a killer’s workshop.
