On May 20, the Japanese television series Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-hen – Fukushsha Scar premiered. It centres on Edward’s conflict with the character Scar. In the opening three days, the movie made 96,503,050 yen, which is around $754,800. It finished the opening weekend at #9. It hasn’t been confirmed whether this implies Netflix has also licenced the series’ concluding feature, which is presently known in Japan as “The Final Transmutation.” However, given that it only recently began playing in cinemas in June, it’s likely going to be some time before we see it.
