The first of the two live-action sequel movies in the Fullmetal Alchemist franchise, Fullmetal Alchemist The Revenge of Scar (Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-hen – Fukushsha Scar), will be added to Netflix US on August 20. As previously reported, the firm will also release the animated series Tekken: Bloodline on August 18, the anime series Rilakkuma’s Theme Park Adventure on August 25, and the Kakegurui twin anime spin-off series on August 4.

A cast from the original live-action Fullmetal Alchemist film is present in both of the sequels. The movies star Tsubasa Honda (live-action Blue Spring Ride’s Futaba), Dean Fujioka (live-action Happy Marriage!) and Rysuke Yamada (Hey! Say! JUMP member and live-action Assassination Classroom’s Nagisa) as Edward Elric, Alphonse Mizuishi (Garo – Makai no Hana, Prince of Tennis 2nd season musicals) as Alphonse Elric, and Winry Rockbell (play

On May 20, the Japanese television series Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-hen – Fukushsha Scar premiered. It centres on Edward’s conflict with the character Scar. In the opening three days, the movie made 96,503,050 yen, which is around $754,800. It finished the opening weekend at #9. The ultimate fight is shown in Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-hen – Saigo no Rensei, which debuted on June 24 in Japan.

The movies celebrate Hiromu Arakawa’s original Fullmetal Alchemist manga’s 20th anniversary. Prior to its December 2017 Japanese release, the first live-action movie had its global debut at the Tokyo International Film Festival in October 2017.

A fresh trailer for Fullmetal Alchemist: The Revenge of Scar / The Final Alchemy is made available via Netflix. The movies are based on the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, which since its release in 2003 has been turned into several anime series, computer games, and motion pictures. A two-part sequel to the 2017 live-action Fullmetal Alchemist film, The Revenge of Scar and The Final Alchemy will conclude the original manga’s plot.

Hakaze makes an attempt to communicate by transmitting signals across the sea. Fortunately, Mahiro Fuwa, a young man, discovers it and contacts Hakaze. To get revenge on his sister, Mahiro makes a deal with Hakaze. To stop the return of the tree of Genesis, Mahiro will now need to collaborate with Hakaze. The situation then affects Yoshino Takigawa, Mahiro’s best friend and his sister’s lover.

Ryosuke Yamada, Atomu Mizuishi, Tsubasa Honda, and Dean Fujioka—who played Ed, Al, Winry, and Roy, respectively, in the previous movie—will all return for The Revenge of Scar. Misako Renbutsu, Kanata Hongo, Yuina Kuroshima, Keisuke Watanabe, and Kokoro Terada are also featured in the movie. On Saturday, August 20, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Revenge of Scar will make its Netflix debut, and on Saturday, September 24, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Alchemy will follow.

The primary cast is the same, and actor Mackenyu plays Scar in the new movies. The actor is smack dab at the centre of a dispute in Japan over accusations that he committed many crimes, which he denies. As brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric, respectively, Ryosuke Yamada and Atomu Mizuishi make a comeback. Scar is portrayed by Mackenyu Arata from “Samurai X – The Finale,” who will also play Zoro in the “One Piece” series. The cast has already been announced to include Dean Fujioka as Roy Mustang and Tsubasa Honda as Winry Rockbell. The 2017 movie’s director, Fumihiko Sori, is behind the camera for these movies. For the 20th anniversary of the published work of Hiromu Arakawa’s manga, both movies were made.

As a form of celebration of the 20th anniversary of the series, Fullmetal Alchemist recently made two additional live-action appearances, and Netflix has now revealed that Fullmetal Alchemist: The Revenge of Scar will be available for viewing shortly! The franchise made a comeback for a new series of live-action films starting up where the previous one left off some years ago as part of the celebration for Hiromu Arakawa’s significant milestone for the brand. Both of these new movies incorporate significant scenes from the plot of the original manga, and this new effort is intended to conclude the live-action version of the franchise.

In Japan, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Revenge of Scar debuted in theatres back in May. Apparently, according to Netflix, the film will be available for viewing on August 20. The Elric brothers face their biggest opponent yet in this sequel to the original feature film: a lone serial murderer with a noticeable scar on his forehead. Netflix has provided a very brief overview of the new movie. Fans could infer from the title and plot summary that this new film features a live-action Scar.

The main actors from the first film, including Ryosuke Yamada as Edward Elric, Atomu Mizuishi as Alphonse Elric, Tsubasa Honda as Winry Rockbell, and Dean Fujioka as Roy Mustang, return for the last two live-action films. For the final films, new actors have been added to the cast, including Mackenyu Arata as Scar, Yuina Kuroshima as Lan Fan, Keisuke Watanabe as Ling Yao, Yuki Yamada as Solf J. Kimblee, Hiroshi Tachi as King Bradley, Koji Yamamoto as Alex Louis Armstrong, Chiaki Kuriyama as Olivier Mira Armstrong, Seiyo Uchino as Van Hohenheim, Yukie Nakama as Trisha Elric, Jun Fubuki as Pinako Rockbell, Naohito Fujiki as Yuriy Rockbell, Kaoru Okunuki as Sarah Rockbell, Kokoro Terada as Selim Bradley, Long Meng Rou as May Chang, and Haruhi Ryooga as Izumi Curtis.

It hasn’t been confirmed whether this implies Netflix has also licenced the series’ concluding feature, which is presently known in Japan as “The Final Transmutation.” However, given that it only recently began playing in cinemas in June, it’s likely going to be some time before we see it. What do you think, though? When it debuts on Netflix next month, will you see the new live-action Fullmetal Alchemist film? Post your opinions about it in the comments section.
