Godzilla vs. Kong director Adam Wingard is having a great week. His film opened with a mass hit as a debut gross film during the pandemic. The movie also premiered simultaneously on HBO Max. Wingard told in an interview about his next plan. Wingard said that he is planning for Face/Off 2. The original film was released in 1997 by John Woo and starred Nicolas Cage and John Travolta. The film became successful at the box office.
What did he say?
Wingard said that he is going to do the next available thing quickly. It might be Face/Off 2. He continued that when he looks at Face/Off, some people have asked if he will follow that film. It is part of it and is what makes it so exceptional. But the story of the film is about the characters, Castor Troy and Sean Archer. The film is a follow-up to their account. Wingard said that some people accept when he says that it just means it takes place in the world of Face/Off. To him, Face/Off isn’t about a process or anything like that. It is all about Castor Troy and Sean Archer. It is the continuation of the original story. It is tough to talk about other than that. But, to him, it is the conclusive continuation of that epic.
