Halloween Ends Will Bring Michael Myers Era Of Terror To An End

After David Gordon Green’s Halloween Kills, we’ll receive David Gordon Green’s Halloween Ends, which is the third and final instalment of Gordon Green’s sequel trilogy. Halloween Kills will be released on October 15, 2021, followed by Halloween Ends on October 14, 2022.

While Halloween Kills was billed as “the ultimate slasher film,” with a large cast and plenty of gore, it appears that Halloween Ends will take the opposite approach.

In the most recent issue of Total Film Magazine, producer Malek Akkad revealed that the last one would be much more contained and will probably wrap up any and all loose ends for good.

In the magazine’s latest issue, David Gordon Green teased that he gets engaged by doing something unconventional. He’d pass the reins on to someone else if he was merely going to do the same thing over and over. It’s a lot of fun to think about how to convey different tones and viewpoints and evolve when you have that opportunity within an established franchise because there is a lot to play with in that case.

Jamie Lee Curtis, who will reprise her role as Laurie Strode in Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends, tells Total Film that the latter film will be her final performance as the character.

She stated that based on what she understands about the next film, she believes she will be playing her for the last time. She makes a point of avoiding any spoilers by swiftly clarifying that it isn’t because she dies or anything. That hasn’t got anything to do with it. She was referring to what they have built emotionally.

She also thinks it’ll be a fantastic way to wrap out the trilogy and we can simply wait to see what they have in store for us.
