Daniel cerone developed this NBC show, and David S Goyer and in the bigger picture, it was a part of DC’s Arrowverse. The show was cancelled after only one season due to low ratings, but Warner Bros is currently developing a reboot of the same. Due to his charms, this anti-hero has very quickly gone on to be one of the loved characters in the world of superheroes.
What we know about the development of the show
As HBO Max is developing a Justice League Dark Universe, a Constantine reboot may be what they need. This standalone series focuses solely on the detective and adds a little something to the bigger storyline. Recently, The Illuminerdi, an entertainment website, revealed that they have managed to get some interesting details regarding the casting for this reboot. Instead of casting actors like Matt Ryan or Keanu Reeves, who fans popularly associated with the role, WB may be recasting entirely. The production team is actively searching for a BIPOC actor in his 20s who looks much like actor Riz Ahmed (Nightcrawler, Sound of Metal).
