‘Here’s Negan’ From ‘The Walking Dead’ Will Be Adapted Into One Of The Episodes In The Final Season

The television show ‘The Walking Dead’ first premiered in 2010 and is currently in its tenth season. The show captures the lives of a few remaining survivors in an otherwise zombie-infested world and has been adapted from comic books of the same name. This zombie horror series has had four confirmed spin-offs, with two of them still in their development phase. ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ is an ongoing spin-off that started in 2015 and is considered by some fans to be better than the original show because it explores its characters. Another spin-off titled ‘The Walking Dead: World Beyond’ started just recently in 2020 and is confirmed to have only two seasons with ten episodes each. ‘Tales of the Walking Dead’ and an untitled spin-off are still in the works.

Why this episode will be an essential milestone for Negan’s character

The current season of ‘The Walking Dead’ will conclude after six additional episodes, out of which the last one will be fascinating. Earlier, many references have been made to Lucille. She was the wife of one of the leading characters Negan but died in the Apocalypse’s early stages, leaving Negan with nothing except his baseball bat named after her.  But in one of these additional episodes, most likely the finale titled ‘Here’s Negan’, we will finally get to see her through flashbacks as Negan reflects on all the choices he made that led him to where he is now. This episode will adapt the ‘Here’s Negan’ comics that were standalone comics from ‘The Walking Dead’ franchise and explored Negan’s character in its full depth.

Who will play the most anticipated role for this adaptation

From a few image previews we can see that the role of Lucille will be played by none other than Hilarie Burton Morgan herself, real life wife of actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays Negan. This last episode of the show is all set to be a tear-jerker and have fans excited about how the makers will approach this adaptation. Robert Kirkman creates ‘The Walking Dead,’ Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard and the show star Andrew Lincoln (‘Penguin Bloom,’ 2020), Norman Reedus (‘Blade II,’ 2002), Danai Gurira (‘Black Panther,’ 2018), Lauren Cohen (‘Whiskey Cavalier,’ 2019) and Chandler Riggs (‘Only,’ 2019).
