Meet the Mary Poppins of sex rooms now.
The How to Build a Sex Room teaser has been released by Netflix. In this next home improvement series, couples wishing to liven up their boudoir enlist the expertise of upscale interior designer Melanie Rose to develop chic places where they may indulge in their most extravagant dreams.
The official logline for the new interior design programme How to Build a Sex Room, which debuted on Netflix on Thursday, states that “couples looking for more spice in the bedroom hire luxury interior designer Melanie Rose” — dubbed the Mary Poppins of sex rooms — “to create stylish spaces where they can carry out any fantasy they wish.” The streamer remarks, “You’ve seen bathroom renovations and kitchen renovations, but you’ve never seen anything exactly like this!
Rose discusses the stigma associated with sex rooms in the trailer up top. “People focus on the word’sex’ when they hear the phrase’sex room,’ and that connotes ‘filthy,’ ‘disgusting,'” she claims. But when I create them, they may be lovely and serve as spaces where partners can indulge in their most fervent dreams.
The video also features other Season 1 clients, including one who credits Rose for saving her marriage, along with her appearing butterfingered contractor Mike.
The designer, who has experience with luxury residences, wants to de-stigmatize the idea of sex rooms. In the trailer, Rose says, “When people hear the words “sex room,” they focus on the word “sex,” which connotes “dirty” and “disgusting.” But when I create them, they may be lovely and serve as spaces where partners can indulge in their most fervent dreams.
On July 8, all eight episodes will be released. The accompanying first-look images will have to suffice until then. Makeover your house, but make it sexy. The naughtiest home design series you’ve ever seen is How to Build a Sex Room on Netflix. On her new show, which premieres on Friday, July 8, host Melanie Rose works with couples to design a sex chamber in their homes that meets all of their fantasies.
According to a Netflix teaser for the docuseries, “couples searching for extra spice in the bedroom employ luxury interior designer Melanie Rose to build chic rooms where they may live out whatever fantasy they choose.” “You’ve seen bathroom and kitchen makeovers, but you’ve never seen anything exactly like this,” I said.
The restored rooms and the labour that went into them are showcased in the trailer. Couples test out some of the sexy equipment while fully clothed—don’t panic—and gush over Rose’s creations as a whole.
“People focus on the term “sex” when they hear the phrase “sex rooms.” And that implies being filthy and repulsive,” Rose adds in the video. But they can be lovely if I design them well. Additionally, they provide as venues for couples to indulge in their wildest dreams.
Rose transforms plain areas into posh adult playrooms with whips and poles, among other wonderfully sinister amenities, with the assistance of her general contractor. One customer even claims that the designer saved her marriage.
Rose quips cheekily in the teaser, “They say you never know what goes on behind closed doors, but I do.
A (g-)string of further interior design television programmes, including Designing Miami, Instant Dream House, and Buy My House, were also revealed by Netflix on Thursday. Selling Sunset, a popular streaming service’s real estate reality series, has also been renewed for seasons 6 and 7. But there are no whips or bonds in the aforementioned titles.
As a result, on July 8, when How to Build a Sex Room premieres on Netflix, make sure you’re not tied down (sorry).
Rose tries to create the couples’ ideal bedrooms with the aid of Mike, her general contractor. Along with a piled-high assortment of sex toys, those rooms also had stripper poles, clawfoot bathtubs, and lush, multicoloured flowers hanging from the ceiling.
Building a Sex Room The first season will include eight episodes and be produced by High Noon Entertainment for ITV America. Adam Sher, Jim Berger, Scott Feeley, Corina Robbins, and Sarah Howell served as the executive producers.
