I Am A Killer, Netflix’s emotionally charged and hard-hitting true crime series, will return for a third season, according to a recent Deadline report. The ten-episode seasons have taken us inside some of America’s most high-security jails over the past two seasons, allowing us to learn about the pasts of murder suspects who are currently spending their lives on death row. The second season of the show debuted almost three years ago, thus the news of its return was lengthy in coming.
I Am a Killer, a Netflix true-crime series that contains interviews with murderers who are either on Death Row or have spent the majority of their lives behind bars, has been given a third season. Although the exact date of the series’ debut was kept a secret, it was revealed that there will be six chapters. I Am a Killer: Released, a spinoff, was created as a result of one of those latter tales. After killing a Subway employee in Texas in 1990, Dale Wayne Sigler spent the majority of his life in prison. The limited series tracked his life. Over the course of three episodes, viewers saw Sigler re-enter society and encounter both those who supported the court’s ruling and those who thought he should remain in prison. Along with the television series offshoot, Danny Tipping, the creator of Transistor and co-executive producer of the show, also wrote a book as a result of the success of I Am A Killer. Earlier this year, the book was released on the market.
This year saw the release of an I Am a Killer book written by Transistor founder Danny Tipping, who also executive produces the show with Ned Parker.
