Isekai is a genre that has recently gained a lot of traction, and for good reason; it takes the characters out of their bland and sometimes downright sad lives and pushes them into a world that is more often than not, the opposite of the world that they’re used to.
It’s fun to watch the main characters navigating through a completely new world, but it also makes you think about what you would do if you were to be put in that situation. Being put in a completely new scenario when it comes to isekai anime could range from having to build up something that the new world is lacking to trying to escape deadly scenarios.

After losing his younger sister to an incurable disease, world-renowned medical researcher Kanji Yakutani dedicated his life to developing new medicines in order to help patients. The former pharmacist wakes up as a 10-year-old child whose body has been hit by lightning after he worked himself to death at the age of 31. He learns that he has been reincarnated as Falma, a member of the illustrious De Médicis family, in a medieval world.
Falma discovers that his body is home to the guardian deity of medicine in a world where divine arts—magic bestowed through blessings from guardian deities—exist. The boy has been given the mythical divine arts of creation and reduction, as well as the ability to identify illnesses in people’s bodies instantly.
He quickly discovers the world’s terrible state of medicine: only the nobles can afford medical care, which is ineffective at best and dangerous at worst. The Summer 2022 calendar seems like the most likely slot for release. If the release misses that, then the next opportunity is Fall 2022.
