Joel Kim Booster stopped by Catch One in Los Angeles to record his first-ever Netflix comedy special before heading out to Fire Island with Bowen Yang and his crew later this year. The multitalented actor and producer has previously done sets for Comedy Central, but Psychosexual, an hour-long special about sex, sexuality, and his Asian roots, will be his Netflix debut. On June 21, the special will debut on the streaming service.
Kim Booster’s first foray into Netflix comedy will be a three-act comedy feast in which the comic tackles the cultural intricacies of being Asian that he’s acquired as he’s grown older. However, much of the special, like his Comedy Central shows, will focus on his style of sexual comedy.
