Hirohiko Araki created JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure- a manga series that gathered huge attention. The series was published by the entertaining company- Shueisha. The publication followed from 1987 to 2004 in the weekly magazine -Shonen Jump and Ultra Jump. It is the largest manga series with 130 volumes, with the last publication done in May 2021.
A lot of anime production has been made on the manga’s volumes. An original video animation series followed publication from 1993 to 2002. The manga also has an anime television series on Tokyo MX, which started in October 2012. By the end of 2021, five seasons have been produced by David Production- a Japanese animation studio. A sixth season is to be followed now, based on the part -Stone Ocean, which includes 16 volumes from 64 to 80 and a total of 158 chapters.
The story revolves around a girl named Jolyne Kujo, who is the daughter of Jotaro Kujo. She has been held incarcerated for fifteen years. Jotaro tries to figure out a way to help her daughter, as he learns that the gang of Dio plans to kill her. Whitesnake snatches Jotaro’s Stand and discs. Jolyne realizing her father’s efforts decides to take a stand for him.
As she goes on her journey, she makes allies like- EmporioAlnino and Ermes Costello. She manages to be friends with Foo fighters. As the team worked together, they extracted through the memory of Jotaro, the plans of Dio who wants to create a perfect world.
For his dream to come real, certain conditions need to be fulfilled though. Jolyne along with her allies escapes from the prison and immediately gets on the job of transferring her father’s discs to the Speedwagon Foundation.
Despite huge efforts to save Ermes and Jotaro, the team fails. In the end, they are killed by Pucci. Jolyne also sacrifices herself.
When will the season 2 of the anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6 Stone Ocean will air?
Season one has premiered in December 2021 on Netflix. The series gaining popularity became the reason that Viz Media began to release the manga in the English language for the readers. The publication began in 2022 January.
What will follow in season 2 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6 Stone Ocean?
As we saw, in the previous season, Pucci prepares plans to end the existing universe and create a parallel one. A universe without the existence of Joester bloodline. Pucci in an attempt to kill Emporio inserts Weather’s discs in his mind. Using these powers, Emporio becomes the reason forthe death of Pucci.
With his fall we saw that the parallel universe which was under creation falls and a new world without Pucci is created. However,in the end, we saw the counterparts of Jolyne, Jotaro, and Ermes. Irene becomes the counterpart of Jolyne, who later engages with the counterpart of Anasui- Anakiss. Ermes and Weather Report shares a counterpart- hitchhikers.
A different plot follows in every story, with the main lead of the name- JoJo. What marks the main lead different is a birthmark, which is marked by a blade in the shape of a star. The mark represents the family of Joestar, abbreviated as JoJo. Irene also had the same mark.
As the new season will air, it is expected the series will pick up from the end of last season. We will see, Emporio mixing up with counterparts. New adventures will take place with their counterparts. It will also be revealed whether Emporio reminds them of their previous stories. How their new relationships work out will also be shown.
