Kantai Collection: KanColle Season 2 is a sequel to the Japanese anime television series called- Kantai Collection. It was decided in September 2013, that an anime television series will follow. Season one of the anime was launched in 2015, airing from January to March. Diomedea- a Japanese animation studio produced the series, following the theme of a video game launched by Kadokawa Games
As the season second is about to be released, let’s have a quick recap of season one, so as to not miss out on any details. The anime television series introduced us to a bunch of girls whose outfits possessed weapons. The girls known as Kanmusu are fighters and the only protector against the attack of the abyssal fleet.
They reside at the historical naval base and train there only to be prepared against any attack. Amongst them, there is a newbie- Fubuki. Fubuki is the protagonist of the anime who has recently joined the Third Torpedo Squadron. Though tasks are extra hard for her, as she lacks experience. As the first battle happens, Fubuki finds herself in a tough spot. She was rescued by Akagi from the First Carrier Division.
After that incident, she decided to train hard and be a responsible fighter. She was assisted in her training by other Kanmusu. With consistent training sessions, Fukubi successfully secures a place for herself in the squadron by impressing Nagato- the battleship. As she aces up, she is sent on a mission with other squadrons to fight against the fleet residing on W Island. With teamwork and coordination, the squadrons consisting of – Yuburi, Kuma, Tama, Mochizuki, Yayoi, Kisaragi, and Fukubi, defeat the enemy. Though Kisagari couldn’t survive as she got hit by a bomber.
After an impressive performance, Fukubi is assigned more tasks. The next was with the four Kongo sisters- Kongo, Hiei, Haruna, and Kirishima. The journey of Fubuki continues. As she gains confidence, she helps out Yomoto, who was having trouble using too many resources. Fubuki helped her with swimming and controlling more desire for resources. Yamato ably destroys an abyssal aircraft as well. Slowly she turns into a role model from a rookie fighter.
When will season second of the anime Kantai Collection: KanColle will air?
The second season will be released in November 2022, by Entertainment Graphic Innovation- a Japanese animation studio.
What will follow the plot of the season second of the anime Kantai Collection: KanColle?
Season second will follow the same theme as season one. There will be a presentation of naval bases from the historical World War. More characters might be introduced in the anime series. Further battleships from the WW 2 might form a plot of the season second. Seeing the success of season one, the fans are expecting season two to be equally enthralling with a strong storyline and engaging characters. The main theme of the story- female fighters with the souls of dead battleships will be included in the story.
In the next season as well we will see all the characters ranging from destroyers to Aircraft carriers, to Battleships, to Cruisers, and additional characters. Fans will see their favourite destroyers- Fubuki, Mutsuki, Yudachi,Yayoi, and Akatsuki. As far as it is known, the same Aircraft carriers as Akagi, Kaga, Sorya, and Taiho will be included. Battleships like Yamato, Nagato, and Kongo will also be included.
It is not confirmed whether the voice actors from the previous season will be working in this season as well. In the last season we saw, Sumire Uesaka, Rina Hidaka, Yumi Tanibe, Aya Suzaki, Ayane Sakura, Saki Fujita, Yuka Iguchi, Nao Toyama, Risa Taneda, Yuka Otsubo, Yui Horie and others.
The fans should be ready for another season full of interesting characters and battles.
