Keaton Finally Donnes The Batsuit For The Third Time

Director Andy Muschietti took to Instagram to announce the return of Michael Keaton for the role of Batman, along with the newly designed motion logo for The Flash.

Michael Keaton will reportedly be landing in London this week to start filming for his role as Batman in DCEU’s The Flash. While Keaton’s involvement in the sequel has been documented very well, the actor seemed a little doubtful on his return last month in an interview with Deadline. Expressing his concern over coronavirus protocols, Keaton made it feel like he still wasn’t totally on board to return for the movie.

    Details from the Interview

In an interview, Keaton spoke about all the worries he had with the filming of the movie due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He mentioned how he happens to be more concerned about this than his peers.

As the situation is a determinant of everything, starting from the shooting till the premiere and release, Keaton attempts to keep himself safe by living outside the main city on 17 acres.

He emphasized on his fear by sharing about how every time he is presented with a project, he thinks that it might get him killed.

    Background

Michael Keaton is going to return to the role of Bruce Wayne after nearly three decades. He first played the role in Tim Burton’s Batman in 1989, making his return for the sequel “Batman Returns” in 1992. He did not come back the third time as the Dark Knight in Batman Forever after Joel Schumacher took the over the franchise. Fans have been rooting for a legendary sequel that would bring back Keaton in the role, perhaps in a potential Batman Beyond movie. Hence the actor’s landmark return is something to look out for.
