‘Kong: Skull Island’ Filmmaker Jordan Vogt-Roberts Is Ready To Direct Live-Action ‘Gundam’ Film For Netflix And Legendary

It all began with the animated television series Mobile Suit Gundam back in 1979. The Yoshiyuki Tomino-created sci-fi franchise is consequently laying uncountable films, shows, games, and more. Up next, the Japanese Gundam franchise is receiving a live-action movie, with Netflix declaring that Jordan Vogt-Roberts (Kong: Skull Island) is going to direct.

    About the franchise

Wikipedia explains that most Gundams are huge, bipedal, anthropological automobiles organized from an arena by a human pilot. The stadium is located in the torso. At the same time, the head helps as a camera to conduct images back to the arena. Most of the series leading roles are Newtypes, hereditarily progressive humans modified for space. Newtypes have mental capabilities that allow them to sense each other crosswise and apply unusual mobile suits.
