As the name suggests, Laid-Back Camp: The Movie is an upcoming Japanese anime movie. The movie is based on the manga – Laid-Back Camp, which is written by Afro. Jin Tanaka and Mutsumi Ito will be working on the scripts and Yoshiaki Kyogoku is directing the anime movie. With C-Station- a Japanese animation and production studio, and DeNA is the producer, the anime movie launch has been announced.
Before the release of the anime, let’s have a look at the storyline of the movie for a better understanding and a familiarity with the characters. The announcement of production of such a film was announced long back in October 2018. The movie will be released very soon on July 1, 2022, by Shochiku- a Japanese film and production and distribution company.
The story covers the plot of friendships. A group of five friends who were very close to each other in school gets separated as life happens. Though they reunite with each other and revive their friendship. The story will introduce various characters and their journey. Initially, we will see NadeshikoKagamihara, Rn Shima, Chiaki Ohgaki, Aoi Inuyama, and Ena Saito. These characters will reunite in the movie as they collectively will share a similar goal – to finish building a campsite.
YumiriHanamori, Nao Toyama, Sayuri Hara, Aki Toyosaki, and Rie Takahashi will be working as voice actors in the anime movie. A teaser has been released for the fans. The fans can have a glimpse of the main characters in the teaser alongside the revelation of the campsite upon which the team would be working.
