When Is Love Island UK: Season 8 (2022) Releasing?

A new group of singletons have left the UK behind to pursue love (and a sizable financial prize) in a new home in Mallorca as part of the eighth season of Love Island 2022.

The upcoming season of Love Island, which will once again have Laura Whitmore in the presenting chair and her husband Iain Stirling delivering the show’s hilarious voiceover, is expected to be full of even more humorous challenges, dramatic recouplings, and even additional shock dumpings.

Week five of Love Island has begun, and the villa has been rocked by the decision to send a couple of their fellow Islanders home. Sadly, Antigoni Buxton and Charlie Radnedge were selected to depart the island. But when the girls were told to pack for a girls’ trip, little did they know that they had been taken to Casa Amor! Even more drama ensued!

Here is all the information you require for Love Island 2022.

New episodes of Love Island 2022 will air nightly starting on Monday, June 6 at 9 p.m. on ITV 2 and ITV Hub.

ITV has also stated that series 8 will have an eight-week runtime, much like last season. The morning after they air, episodes are also available to view on BritBox.

We now know when viewers of US dating shows may begin catching up on all that has happened thus far.

The US audience can now watch Love Island 2022 as well! On Tuesday, June 21, the series on Hulu started to stream. Up until the season finale, which is scheduled to air in the US on August 16, new episodes will air every Tuesday through Saturday.

On Saturdays, you may also watch Love Island: Aftersun and the special “Unseen Bits” programme.

The Islanders were saddened by Charlie and Antigoni’s disappearance following the dramatic evening when they were selected to depart the island.

But when they got a text saying they were going on a girls-only trip, the girls were over the moon. They were shocked to learn that they had been taken to Casa Amor to meet six fresh bombshells as they got ready and waved farewell to the males.

While the females went about getting to know the new boys at Casa Amor, the lads were thrilled to learn that the establishment was open for business but missed their companions.

They were then instructed to pack a suitcase for their respective companion, and almost all of them included a small gift as a sign of gratitude.

The males were thrilled by the arrival of the six new bombshells the following day and wasted no time in learning what each of them were looking for, but some appeared intent on causing trouble for the couples.

The girls expressed their perspectives about each of the couples, which moved an emotional Andrew to reconsider his love with Tasha.

As the lads continued to graft the girls, everything in Casa Amor appeared to be proceeding smoothly.

And it appears like there may be even more drama in the villa because a sneak peek from tonight’s episode shows Dami and Andrew about to kiss the new girls! Will this cause them to split up with their initial couples?

Two brief teasers for the upcoming season of Love Island were released in early May, then on Saturday, May 14, a complete episode of the show aired on ITV before Britain’s Got Talent.

The teaser, which features the recognisable voice of Iain Sterling, shows ITV stating that “love is ours” and makes fun of some of the numerous dating programmes that have appeared over the years.

The first look video, which was also screened at the beginning of the first episode to introduce this year’s islanders, was issued by ITV before to the show’s return to our screens.

The video provides an insight inside the singletons’ employment, from a paramedic to a real estate salesperson, before they leave their regular lives behind for the ultimate summer of love.

The first contender for the most recent season of Love Island was Paige Thorne. She believes that moving from Swansea to the villa will enable her to meet more people.

She uttered: “I’ve looked everywhere, but I just can’t seem to locate anyone in Swansea anymore. Love Island just pulls everyone together for me, which is just what I need to venture out and extend my horizons. I don’t need to travel anywhere or swipe anything. So perhaps they can just visit me right now!”

The Love Island villa would be the ideal setting for Dami Hope to try some new things the next year.

“This year I was more open to doing new things, and I think that’s actually why I put myself out there to have some new experiences,” he said. I will be talking to different girls on Love Island, so it will be an interesting experience. Some conversations might go well, while others might not.

The third participant for the next series was announced as Indiyah Polack. I feel like I’m at a position in my life now where I’m ready to meet new people and start dating properly, she replied when asked why she wanted to participate.

“I’ve been single for a while, and I feel that, for individuals of my generation, dating is difficult to do without being influenced by social media and other things of the sort. I believe that Love Island in particular is a terrific location to meet new people and form genuine connections because it is like a confined space.

The fifth islander in the new series, Tasha Ghouri, wants to improve her dating situation. My dating life has been an absolute mess,” she remarked. I have the chance to locate “the one” and enjoy my summer at the same time. Without a doubt, I’m prepared for a relationship. I’m ready to meet someone new, go on vacation, and more now that I’m 23.

Our sixth islander is Davide Sanclimenti. He presently resides in Manchester but is originally from Rome, and he is eager to become the “Italian Stallion” of Love Island. He stated: “I anticipate that Love Island will be a lot of fun. In the Villa, I’ll be the Italian stallion! I have a lot of Italian charm, and I can be a really passionate guy ” I’ve discovered after moving to Manchester that many English girls genuinely adore me because I’m attractive. Both they and I like having each other around. I’m excited about it since I know it will be enjoyable. In order to genuinely create anything in the future, grow with them, and be with that person, I want to discover my soulmate and my person.

One of the most famous people expected to move into the villa is Gemma Owen. She is the daughter of football star Michael Owen, who made an appearance in the most recent season of The Masked Singer UK. She is excited to have a great time at the villa. She uttered: “I’m open to dating, and I want to have a great summer. When my relationship with someone ended, I reasoned, “Why not?””

In this year’s competition, Andrew Le Page was the eighth contestant to enter the villa. He has decided that since he is single, this is the ideal time to apply for the original dating programme. He explained his decision to participate on the show by saying: “Because I’m truly single for once, so I figured, why not? The ideal time to try it out is right now.

As the eleventh competitor, Luca Bish completed the first Love Island lineup. When he was questioned about why he wanted to be on the show, he responded: “When you truly look back at Love Island, you can see how many couples it’s legitimately made. It sounds like he’s seeking for a committed relationship. I’m not sure how many children Love Island has produced, but there must be a few, right?

Without a few fresh faces, Love Island wouldn’t be the same, and we’ve already noticed several latecomers entering the villa. Which bombshells are currently in the villa may be found here.

One of the candidates thought to be in the running for the most recent series is Ekin-Su Cülcülolu, who claims she is seeking intelligence and a man who is serious about developing a real connection with her.

When asked why she entered the villa, she stated: “They only perceive me as, and I’m looking for, that actual, genuine spark I believe the show’s premise evokes a genuine, real emotion.”

Along with being a professional rugby player, Jacques O’Neill is also Gemma Owen’s ex-boyfriend. He explained his decision to participate in Love Island this year as follows: “My hamstring was constantly hurting last year. It was a horrible period for me because I underwent surgery. The other day, I told my mother that I wanted to settle down and have a girl. I finished all of my tasks.”

Tuesday, June 14 saw the debut of Remi Lambert and Jay Younger. When questioned about his decision to register for Love Island, he responded: “I believe I have reached a stage in my life when finding someone and enjoying ourselves in the process would be fun. Additionally, performing it in the Villa and on Mallorca would be a fantastic chance, so why not?”

On Friday, June 17, while the islanders were getting ready to participate in the “Sex Sea” task, Danica Taylor shocked everyone by being unveiled. Danica responded, “I feel like right now is the perfect time, I recently finished my university degree, I am single and I have been alone for a year now so it just felt like the appropriate time,” when asked why she decided to join up for Love Island.

So far, five islanders have quit the show. In the first week, Liam Llewellyn decided to leave the programme. On Friday, June 10, he informed the islanders that he hadn’t “Since he initially arrived, he had “been himself,” he continued, adding: “I don’t really think I’ve been giving 100% Liam; I’m miles from that. Obviously, the objective is to locate a significant other with whom you may leave the villa. However, it can be difficult to locate that when you’re not feeling it.”

After Jacques O’Neill had to make a decision between the two remaining single girls in the villa on Monday, June 13, Afia Tonkmor became the second islander to leave for the mainland. He chose to get married to Paige, thus Afia left for her house. Remi Lambert, the third islander to depart. On June 14, he entered with Jay Younger, but five days later, at the recoupling, he was abandoned.

Ikenna Ekwonna and Amber Beckford learned they would be returning home on June 21. It was revealed that Amber and Ikenna were leaving the show since they garnered the fewest votes after the public was allowed to vote for their favourite islanders.

After the public was asked to vote for the most compatible couple, Charlie Radnedge and Antigoni Buxton were selected to depart the island on July 1 by their fellow Islanders. The Islanders decided who should leave the villa based on how many votes each couple received: Tasha and Andrew, Jay and Danica, and Antigoni and Charlie received the fewest votes.

The girls went with Charlie while the boys went to Antigoni, so they both had to go home.

Before the actual roster announcement, there were many rumours in the air. Turkish actress and influencer Ekin-Su Cülcülolu was supposed to be “lined up” for the show; however, the original lineup cast major doubt on the probability of any of the rumours materialising. She has now entered the villa as a bombshell.

Antigoni Buxton has since made more appearances on the programme. We’ve kept this section around in case any of the other supposed islanders show up later in the season, even though only two of the rumoured candidates ended up appearing on the show.

Another potential islander in the running is Brad McDermott. He is the brother of Zara McDermott, a former Love Island contestant who participated in season 4 and is currently the host of Love In The Flesh.

Additionally, there have been reports that Sophie Draper would appear on the programme. Sophie, an owner of a beauty parlour in Nottingham, previously dated Matty Cash, an Aston Villa football player, for four years.

Joshua Legrove is reportedly another actor the programme is interested in hiring. Joshua fights and models. The bosses of Love Island are “hoping he’ll follow in the footsteps of boxer Tommy Fury, who was a tremendous hit,” a TV insider told The Sun.

Jordan Spencer, a basketball player, is the fifth prospective islander. Jordan has played for the London Lions for the most of his professional career.

Model Kat Harrison, who was born in Newcastle, was also seen making her way inside the property. Marty McKenna from Geordie Shore is one of Kat’s ex-boyfriends, and according to The Sun, her employers see her as the “whole package.”

There were rumours that another of Gemma’s ex-boyfriends might be appearing on the show when Jacques entered the resort.

One bombshell actually withdrew from the performance at the last minute, according to The Sun. Zach Hartman, a male model, was reportedly scheduled to arrive around week 2, however he withdrew after reflecting on his professional goals.

Presenter Laura Whitmore, who previously helped the islanders succeed in the game, is back.

Regarding once again hosting the programme and Love Island: Aftersun, Laura said: “To be back is really exciting. It appears to be summer already! I believe that we could all need a little more Love Island in our lives.”

We’re also happy to see Iain Sterling back on board because, it’s safe to say, Love Island wouldn’t be the same without him providing the show’s recognisable voiceovers.

Although we first believed the previous villa outside of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar in Mallorca would serve as the setting for the upcoming series, we discovered earlier this year that the producers were looking for a brand-new property for Love Island 2022.

Although the recognisable fire pit is intended to return for even more drama, The Sun reported on Monday, Jan. 31, that the Love Island producers were contemplating a number of ideas around the island in an effort to overhaul and improve the show.

Love Island 2022 has since been verified to have a new residence in the typical site of Mallorca, and it appears that ITV did not drive very far to get it as this year’s villa is only 10 minutes away from the previous one.
