Lucy was born and raised in Virginia suburbs at a place called Mechanicsville. As a newborn, lucy was adopted by her music teacher mum and her graphic designer father. Her mum became the strongest influence on Lucy relating to music as she herself was musically gifted and was training as a pianist.
Lucy while being raised in predominantly American culture had strong influences from her Uzbek and Irish ancestry.
