Marilyn Manson Faced With Yet Another Controversy With Accusations Of Being A Sexual Predator This Time

American singer and songwriter Marilyn Manson, known for his rock music blended with heavy makeup and macabre aura, has rarely stayed out of negative headlines. Be it his appearance, music, lifestyle, or controversial stage name inspired by the actress Marilyn Monroe and the infamous serial killer Charles Manson. He is once again recently under the scanner due to allegations made by his ex-girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood, followed by many more women who claim to be victims of his abuse. Evan had opened up about being a rape and domestic violence survivor back in 2016 but never took any names until now. She clears up that the person she referred to was none other than Brian Warner a.k.a Marilyn Manson.

What Rachel Wood has detailed about her trauma

Marilyn started dating model, actress, and musician Evan Rachel Wood in 2007 and got engaged three years later in 2010. However, the relationship ended later that year, and now, Wood has come out with her horrifying stories of all the abuse she faced by Manson. Stating that she no longer wishes to keep quiet out of fear of blackmail or slander, Rachel lets the world know that she was brainwashed and manipulated by Manson for years on end. Not only this, but she has also called out many industries that have enabled the man for years and by revisiting her abuse and calling out the abuser she wishes to show support to all the others he might have subjected to this kind of torture and protect anyone from ever falling prey to him again. When the two began dating, Manson was thirty-eight years old, whereas Rachel Wood was just nineteen.

More women come out after allegations made by Wood

Following Wood’s statement through social media, several others spoke up about how they, too, faced the torture that she did. At least four more women, claiming to be suffering from PTSD, have accused the singer of putting them through psychological and sexual abuse, various forms of violence, grooming, and coercion. Rachel has expressed her support for these women by sharing their accounts on her Instagram stories, with many claiming to suffer from night terrors, OCD, and crippling anxiety because of what he subjected them to. Each of them now demands that Manson be held accountable for his actions to not continue to put others through this.

    Manson denies accusations

On the other hand, Marilyn Manson took to Instagram himself, denying all accusations and claiming that people have always found a way to defame him and his art through whatever controversies possible. He claims that all his relationships have been consensual. Everyone who is trying to make all recent allegations concrete is simply misrepresenting what had occurred in the past and that their accounts are all “horrible distortions of reality.” However, Manson dropped out of his record label, Loma Vista Recordings, with whom he had been working for five years. Loma Vista has also made it clear that they will refrain from promoting his new album ‘We Are Chaos’ any further and that they have no intention to ever work with him again. Not only this, but a new episode of ‘Creepshow’ starring Manson has now been cancelled and will be replaced.
