12 Mature And Darkest Avengers Animated Series Moments – Most Underrated Superhero Series

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been on a roller coaster ride as Robert Downey Jr.’s and Chris Evans’ contracts have come to an end. We have been accustomed to the original Avengers cast, and it is difficult to imagine future Avengers films without Iron Man and Captain America.

However, Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, an MCU-related animated series, is a promising show in which the character designs and behaviors are directly influenced by the actors that play them in the MCU, so you will not have to worry about things like the actors’ contracts.

The show has five seasons so far and does an excellent job with story adaptations, action-packed sequences, and, of course, conversations. There are a lot of great dialogues in this series that you should not miss. When opposed to live-action, animation allows the authors to expand the world and play with new stories, allowing Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to continue to face difficult problems.

However, as the number of stories grows, so do the challenges. With more challenges, it is simple for our beloved characters to get into some trouble, whether it is with their own brains or with their mortality. In this video, we will look at 12 episodes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe when the Avengers had to cope with heavier themes like death, sacrifice, and doom!

Before we get started with the programming, we have a tiny request for our viewers. Please consider being a Marvelous Videos subscriber. Tony immediately reaches Captain America to assist him at Red Skull’s location but he is a little too late. Bruce also recognizes the voice of the guy who hit him with the blast but can’t remember who it is.

Back at the lab, Bruce is unable to turn back into the Hulk even though he has some residual gamma radiation in him which is only bound to increase with time. He decides to nerd around as the smart guy Bruce Banner. He upgrades Hawkeye’s arrows and modifies Cap’s helmet. However, he is saddened by the fact that his teammates want his muscle back and do not appreciate his smart side enough. Disappointed, he walks away.

The perpetrator turns out to be his old lab partner Igor Drenkov, who intends to recreate the accident for himself to become a hero. With his smarts, Bruce manages to cool down the reactor. However, Igor manages to capture him and drain his gamma radiation into himself for a power-up.

Igor turns out to be a menace for the Avengers, absolutely destroying them in battle. With his smarts, Bruce manages to get back into the room with the device containing his radiation. After the battle, Hulk realizes that he is not strong enough for Red Hulk. Change of plans.

Hulk asks Tony to hit him with more gamma radiation so that he can get stronger. They are a bit skeptical to do so, given Hulk’s inability to control himself in the past but they take the risk. The plan works out and after a fit of rage, Natasha, Stark, and Bruce manage to calm Hulk down and he sets off to fight Red Hulk with a new plan.

The two Hulks fight, and even though Red Hulk still seems to be stronger by a margin, Hulk tells him that he will win as he has the Avengers by his side. Tony encloses both of their necks with a collar and Hulk takes in the gamma from the Red Hulk. Once again, Banner comes to his side and helps him cool down amidst the obnoxious amount of gamma radiation that was now in its body. It works out and the Hulk shrinks to its normal, green form. Well, normal for him.

    [The Return – Season 4, Episode 13]

Loki Has Turned The Earth Into A Frozen Wasteland

The Avengers and the New Avengers return to Earth via a portal but discover that the Earth has turned into a frozen wasteland. With dragons flying overhead, Frost Trolls attacking, and Asgardian magic all over, Thor realizes that it is Loki’s doing.

They find Loki, who sits in a frozen room guarded by his Frost Trolls and wields the Casket of Ancient Winters. He manages to free everyone in their tracks as he wants to rule over Thor’s beloved Midgard and destroy it but they eventually escape.

Everyone gathers at Jane Foster’s house, who explains the situation to them. Two giant stone ships called the world breakers were placed at the north and south ends of Manhattan. If the Avengers tried to get rid of the winter using Jane’s portal technology, Loki would use the ships to activate Ragnarok. So, Cap decides to go to the North, Captain Marvel to the south, and Thor to Loki with some other allies.

At the North end, Captain and his team are made to face the Destroyer while Loki uses his Casket to control Vision. Vision attacks the Avengers but Ant-Man realizes that even though he can hit the others, he isn’t doing so. Thor tries to use Mjolnir to take down Loki but Vision intercepts it. Loki is dumbfounded when he realizes that despite being controlled, he is still worthy enough to lift the legendary hammer when Vision hits Loki with it, proving that he was faking it all along.

Meanwhile, the two teams on both ends manage to destroy the World Breakers, and Jane uses her now modified portal technology to send the winter away from Earth. In the end, Loki is captured and imprisoned in the Avengers’ quarters so that they can keep an eye on him.

The Avengers cannot take the Eye away from him either as it has to be given and Dr. Strange had only given it to Loki to defeat The Beyonder. Meanwhile, with the pathways to Asgard blocked by magic, Jane decides to use science instead of magic to get there.

Loki closes all pathways from Midgard to Asgard and imprisons All-Father Odin with the help of his magical powers and the Casket of Darkness, to become the All-Father himself. He uses his magic to prevent Thor from getting his hands on Mjolnir, but Lady Thor comes in and seizes it. The Avengers assemble at the throne room and take on Loki.

Loki opens a portal from the Bifrost to New York City and sends his beasts, the Mindless Ones, to Earth, causing more trouble for the Avengers. Throughout the whole sequence, everyone is made painfully aware of his inflated ego as well.

The Avengers and New Avengers fight the Mindless Ones and Ant-Man enlarges Hulk to overpower their side. Meanwhile, Thor, Jane Foster’s Thor, and Dr. Strange fight Loki, who seems too powerful to be true. To make matters worse, he unleashes the power of the All-Dark and it begins to take over Yggdrasil, the tree of life. Thor and Lady Thor try to stop it with their lightning but Loki’s magic protects it. Even Dr. Strange’s magic fails to contain it.

In the end, Thor tells Loki that destroying the Tree of Life would kill him too, which Loki finds hard to believe. He uses the Eye of Agamotto to see it for himself and watches the Earth, Asgard, and himself get destroyed. Shocked by the revelation, he throws the Eye away, calling it a liar. Dr. Strange seizes it and cancels the magic used on the All-Dark by Loki. Thor and Lady Thor strike it with lightning, saving Yggdrasil from All-Dark.

Suddenly, the Avengers chime in to give T’Challa a helping hand. Stark asks Killmonger why he is so hell-bent on getting a crown and learns that it is not just any crown, but the greatest weapon Wakanda has ever produced. Meanwhile, Natasha and Clint try to take down Princess Zanda, who outwits them with her shapeshifting. Shuri manages to take down Ulysses Klaue, and the crown falls in Zemo’s hands while T’Challa fights Killmonger. However, despite being T’Challa’s ally, Zemo wears the crown and seizes the power for himself.

Zemo tries to cause damage to New York City when the power of the crown begins to mess with their head. He sends a huge energy wave, but T’Challa’s vibranium suit and Steve’s vibranium shield protect them. Shuri tortured Klaue into a confession. Killmonger had learned about the lost legend of that crown, which is why he had Klaue digging around in the sky. Even though the crown is powerful within Wakanda, outside the country it becomes unstable.

T’Challa has an epiphany and realizes that the crown is unstable without vibranium. Steve fights Zemo and manages to get the crown off, but its shock waves, which have already wrecked Brooklyn Bridge, get too dangerous to control. T’Challa tries to hold it back with his suit and somehow manages to take it to the Embassy. And yet, nothing works.
