One such blessing to the World of Science is Michael Schatz. Schatz is a Bloomberg distinguished professor of biology and computer science at the Johns Hopkins University.

    Schatz gained global recognition as one of the world’s foremost experts who solves computational problems involved in genomics research, a rather unique approach combining his knowledge in computer sciences with biology. Schatz is also the founder and director of the Schatz Lab, which works on software and methods to gather a person’s genetic material or a species to conduct research upon.
