Plot- Tim Allen (“Last Man Standing,” “Home Improvement”) and co-host Richard Karn (“Pen15,” “Home Improvement”), as well as woodworking do-it-yourself YouTube star April Wilkerson, will return to the HISTORY Channel in the new nonfiction series “More Power,” premiering Wednesday, June 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
The trio tackles the supercharged history of tools from Tim’s home shop, honoring the coolest, most powerful, most iconic specimens while illustrating their growth of power from handheld and basic to industrial and huge — pushing the boundaries in a manner that only Tim can. They’ll also go out into the field to interact with some of the most powerful machinery that power and service our daily lives, as well as the men and women who run them.
Tim brings some of the best craftsmen from across the country into his shop along the way, challenging them to produce mind-blowing, custom-tailored solutions to match his demands since there is always space for better. Tim Allen and Richard Karn, both Golden Globe(R) winners, are executive producers on the series, which is produced by Spoke Studios (a Wheelhouse business) and Boxing Cat Entertainment.
