My Youth Romantic Comedy is Wrong, As I Expected, Wataru Watari, and Ponkan8’s original light novel franchise may have come to an end, but it appears the franchise is set to continue. Although My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax, the third season of the anime adaptation, brought the series to a close, the anime will continue with a new OVA special set after the events of that last season, as well as some other new releases.
The anime follows Hachiman Hikigaya, a narcissistic and semi-nihilistic high school student. He is certain that happy youth is a sham and that anyone who claims otherwise is merely deceiving themselves.
Hachiman’s teacher forces him to join the Volunteer Service Club as a novel punishment for producing an article ridiculing modern social relationships. The Volunteer Service Club seeks to assist any student who needs aid in achieving their goals.

Will Hachiman’s rotten vision of society prove to be a burden or a tool he can use to his advantage as he and Yukino utilize their wits to solve numerous students’ problems?
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax will be having a special video game release, as announced during the special Oregairu Fes -FINAL- event in Japan. The special OVA episode will be included with this new game, and Comic Natalie has released three preview shots from the upcoming special, which stars Yui Yuigahama, Komachi Hikigaya, and Iroha Isshiki.

Since the third season was dubbed the climax, fans of the anime felt they had seen the last of their favorite characters until the OVA was announced. The anime adapted all of the story’s volumes to the very finish. That means the anime has no more material to adapt.
As a result, the bonus light novels have already been turned into OVAs, with the final one, presumably, coming out in 2022. It will be accompanied by a new game in the series. However, the game/OVA special has yet to announce a release date.

Although Hachiman and Yukino were given a happy ending, many of the other characters from the series were left hanging. Regardless, fans may be looking forward to furthering stories set in this universe!
