NBC’s Peacock Will Soon Welcome Dan Brown’s Langdon, A Prequel Series To The Da Vinci Code

Directed by Ron Howard, The Da Vinci Code is a mystery thriller film based on Dan Brown’s book of the same name. The film released in 2006 and tells the story of Harvard’s professor of Symbology, Robert Langdon as he tries to solve a murder case that draws biblical references. Both the book and the film were deemed controversial and even met with backlash from the Catholic Church. The film became the second-highest grossing film of 2006 and even bagged two sequels- Angels and Demons (2009) and Inferno (2016). Now, Professor Langdon is all set to make an appearance on Peacock by NBC Universal in the prequel series of The Da Vinci Code titled Dan Brown’s Langdon.

    Details we have so far

The show will follow Langdon in his younger years and those subscribed to Peacock will be able to stream it when the show airs. Sadly, no information has been released about the date of the show’s premiere, but we do know it has a killer pilot as NBC’S Susan Ronver claims that the whole team was really taken aback by it. She also believes that this show will have potential of being binge-worthy. Author Dan Brown is equally excited about Dan Brown’s Langdon and states that Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie, who have also produced the show, have certainly done justice to the script. The series will be executive produced by Dan Brown, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Anna Culp and Samie Kim Falvey.
