Stranger Things Season 4 Will Finally Return In 2022

The third season of “Stranger Things” debuted on Netflix two years ago this July, with the forthcoming fourth season being pushed to an unknown date due to pandemic delays. Season 4 filming is nearly complete, and we now have a clearer sense of when we might anticipate it. Season 4 will air next year, in 2022, as has been recently announced!

Below is a 30-second teaser video for Season 4 of “Stranger Things,” which largely features clips from previous seasons — as well as some sneak glimpses from the upcoming season!

We get our first look at Eleven and Hopper from Season 4, wielding a flamethrower! We also see a group image with Steve, Dustin, Max, Robin, Nancy, and Lucas. The short teaser video ends with a shot of the kids riding their bikes again, harkening back to the first season that first made us fall in love with this bunch of people. Warm and joyful feelings!

Season 4 has thus far revealed that Hopper is still alive, having been imprisoned far from home in the frigid tundra of Kamchatka, where he will encounter both human and other dangers in his journey. In the meantime, back in the United States, a new tragedy is surfacing, something long buried and it is something that ties everything together.

In February of last year, the Duffer Brothers announced that season 4 is shaping up to be the biggest and most terrifying season yet, and said that they cannot wait for everyone to see more.

Robert Englund will play Victor Creel, a disturbed man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s, in the season’s cast along with the series regulars.

In case you don’t already know, Stranger Things is a Netflix-exclusive American science fiction horror drama television series developed by the Duffer Brothers. Watch the existing 3 seasons on Netflix if you haven’t already!
