German director Olaf Ittenbach’s ‘No Reason’ is a grotesque horror film released in 2010 and now, a new version of it is all set to get a Blu-Ray release. The film tells Jennifer, who must survive through the torturous pits of hell and attain redemption. Starring Irene Holzfurtner (‘Zoe,’ 1999), Mathias Engel (‘Seven Days Sunday,’ 2007), Alexander Gamnitzer (‘Der Schwarze Nazi,’ 2016), and Andreas Pape (‘Destruction of Silence,’ 2013). The new version of ‘No Reason’ will be released on Blu-Ray by Unearthed Films.
What’s new?
This new version will feature more gore than the original as it will be an uncut version. This means that scenes that were left out initially for reasons of, we hope, explicitness, will now be available for the fans to enjoy. The film will be a new scan from the original print, and fans can pre-order it through Diabolik DVD and Grindhouse Video before it releases on the 11th of May. Diabolik DVD is known for letting customers pre-order films that are particularly hard to sit through, such as ‘A Serbian Film’ (2010) and ‘Suspiria’ (2018). In contrast, Grindhouse Video features films with the erotic subgenre of horror.

How you may know them
Director Ittenbach is known for previously having worked on some memorable films like ‘Le6ion of the Dead’ (2001), ‘The Burning Moon’ (1992), and ‘Premutos: The Fallen Angel’ (1997). The original print of ‘No Reason’ has been out of stock for years and quite hard for one to get their hands on, but with this new version now arriving on Blu-Ray, anyone can enjoy the gorefest sitting right at home. Unearthed Films will be majorly working on the operations. For those who do not know, it has previously done the same for films like ‘100 Tears’ (2007), a clown slasher film, and ‘Black Sun: The Nanking Massacre’ (1994), a Hong Kong film capturing a history of bloodshed.
