After HBO Max dropped two-second footage from the upcoming Millie Bobby Brown starrer Godzilla vs Kong, it left fans of the franchise hungry for more. Finally, the team has given them something more to look forward to with a new poster release along with exciting news about the trailer. Godzilla made it big in Hollywood in 2014 with Gareth Edwards’ film and had a sequel in 2019 titled ‘Godzilla: King of Monsters’ starring Vera Farmiga.

Legendary’s official Twitter handle released the brand new poster for Godzilla vs. Kong on Thursday, and it looks more than promising. We see Godzilla emerging out of the water while King Kong, looking livid behind a heavy cloud of smoke. The poster features the line “one will fall,” making it clear that a battle of the year is about to ocur, and Legendary has captioned it with “TRAILER SUNDAY.”

Fans are ready
Now, the team must be ready to give the audience a film to live up to or defy all expectations. The movie is based on Toho’s Godzilla and Edgar Wallace and Merian C. Cooper’s King Kong, bringing the two monsters together. While the trailer will drop on the 25th of this month, the film is set to hit the theatres on March 26th.
