New Teaser Image Released By Marvel Shows A Bigger Role Played By Boba Fett

In 1977, Marvel released the revered Star Wars comic series that have since been adapted into films, series and animation as well. Later, other publishers have also published these comics and they are so beloved that even today, they continue. The Star Wars franchise is one of the best known in the science fiction genre and in the age of many failed universes, this one has kept its timeline continuity intact. The first film released in 1977, titled Star Wars: A New Hope (Episode IV), and the latest film came out in 2019, titled Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (Episode IX). Now, Marvel is teasing at a brand-new project and from the looks of the poster, it will centre around Boba Fett, a deadly bounty hunter who was feared by all in the galaxy.

What we could decipher from the image

The new image released by Marvel shows Fett in an all-black armour and two super cool weapons in one hand each- an axe and a blaster. This teaser image, released via StarWars.com features Boba Fett standing against a wall that has been damaged heavily by bullets and it reads “Boba Fett… nowhere to hide”. In all probability, this image is a tease for an upcoming comic series that will fill in the gaps between the time of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (Episode VI) and The Mandalorian season 2. Given how Star Wars has explored the story of a young Boba and shown him after his formative years means that there is scope to tell the story of his formative years to fans.

Return of the Jedi captures the rebels trying to destroy the second Death Star while Luke tries to bring his father over to the light side. The Mandalorian on the other hand sees the events post the rebels having won over the Empire, leaving it up to a bounty Hunter to save the world.
