    Now and Then, an Apple TV+ bilingual drama series will broadcast its first three episodes on May 20, followed by the remaining five episodes on Fridays.

    Now and Then is a film set in Miami that highlights the disparities between teenage goals and adulthood when a group of college best friends’ lives is forever transformed when one of them dies during a joyful weekend. Now, 20 years later, a menace threatens their seemingly ideal worlds, forcing the remaining five to grudgingly reconnect.

    Marina de Tavira and Rosie Perez are among the Academy Award nominees, as are José Mara Yazpik, Maribel Verd, Manolo Cardona, Soledad Villamil, eljko Ivanek, Jorge López, Alicia Jaziz, Dario Yazbek Bernal, Alicia Sanz, Jack Duarte, and Miranda de la Serna.

    Ramón Campos, Teresa Fernández-Valdés, and Gema R. Neira conceived the series. Showrunners will be Campos and Fernández-Valdés. Gideon Raff will direct and produce the film. Apple TV+ was created by Bamb Producciones.

    The bilingual thriller series “Now & Then,” which will launch internationally on Friday, May 20, 2022, has been given a premiere date and the first look by Apple TV+. The eight-part series, set in Miami, was shot in both Spanish and English and will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes, with one new episode released every Friday thereafter.

    “Now & Then” is a multi-layered thriller that tackles the disparities between youthful goals and the realities of adulthood, when the lives of a group of college best friends are permanently transformed after one of them is killed over a joyous weekend. Now, 20 years later, a menace threatens their seemingly ideal worlds, forcing the remaining five to grudgingly reconnect.

    Marina de Tavira and Rosie Perez, Ariel Award winner José Mara Yazpik, multi-Goya Award winner Maribel Verd, Manolo Cardona, Soledad Villamil, Emmy Award winner eljko Ivanek, Jorge López, Alicia Jaziz, Dario Yazbek Bernal, Alicia Sanz, Jack Duarte, and Miranda de la Serna are among the outstanding ensemble cast.

    The series was created by Ramón Campos, Teresa Fernández-Valdés, and Gema R. Neira of Bamb Producciones. The showrunners are Campos and Fernández-Valdés, and the series is written by Neira and Campos alongside their crew. Executive produces and directs Gideon Raff (“The Spy,” “Homeland”).

    “Echo 3,” a new action-thriller was written by Academy Award-winning producer and writer Mark Boal, set in South America and the United States; new stories from Alfonso Cuarón, the multi-Academy Award and BAFTA Award-winning director, writer, producer, cinematographer, and editor, who currently has an overall deal to develop television projects exclusively for Apple TV+ through his production company Esperanto Filmoj; “Masters of the Air,” a new limited drama series from Apple.

Apple TV+ is the first all-original streaming service to launch around the world on November 1, 2019, and it has aired more original hits and garnered more award recognitions than any other streaming service in its first year.
