According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rae’s new half-hour series Rap Sh!t has been given an eight-episode order by HBO Max. The programme will follow two Miami high school buddies who fell out of touch and then reconnected to establish a rap trio. The showrunner will be Syreeta Singleton from Insecure, while Rae will be the lead writer.
