Be it a long and tedious manga series or a light novel, the storyline always gets us. Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire is another light novel manga written by Hayaken. The illustration was completed by Nagu. The light novel started its publication in March 2019. The publication will take place on the website- Shosetsukani Naro. A total of 6 volumes have been published since November 2019. As for the manga series, three volumes are in publication.
Before the premier let’s have a sneak at the plot of the manga. The setting of the plot is organized in the Kingdom of Silvare. The main lead Inglis – the king lived in the kingdom. He attained all the skills of a knight. Being blessed by the goddess Alistia, he takes the charge to protectthe natives from the enemies and all the beasts.
He also fights against the supernatural power of the dark gods. Putting all his efforts he tries to save and establish the kingdom. His goal is to eventually master the blade. Though a lifetime does not seem to be enough to realize his dream. Goddess Alistia appears on his deathbed. To help him realize his goal, she gives him another life. This time he is reborn as a girl, with the consciousness of her goal from her past life. She spends her life doing hard training in order to realize her dream which is to master the blade. She lives an isolated life for this accomplishment.
Is there an anime adaptation of the manga series?
Yes, it has been announced that an anime adaptation will follow the manga series. The series will be under the direction of NaoyuiKuzuya. Scriptwriting would be handled by Mitsutaka Hirota. For the character’s sketch, RelichiroOfuji is appointed. Music will be looked at by Kenta Higashionji. The trailer has been released two months back.
When will the series release?
The season which has been promised will be released in the year 2023 in January. The number of episodes has not been announced yet.
Who will be in the anime adaptation?
The fans will see all their favorite characters including Inglis Eucus and Rafinha Bilford. Akari Kito will be voicing the king Inglis Eucus and Ai Kakuma is finalized to give voice to Rafinha Milford
What to expect in the anime production of the manga?
The manga is soon to be followed by an anime series. Back in 2020, a mini anime adaptation has been released, consisting of only two episodes. Now, an announcement has been confirmed by the Studio Comet who will be assisting in the production, that an anime series is bound to follow.
In the anime adaptation which has been confirmed, the fans will get to see the Kingdom of Silver, alongside all the favorite heroes. As said before, Inglis is rebirthed as a girl in order to realize his dream. The plot will most probably cover her journey of accomplishing her goal.
The anime will give details on the journey from being a king to that of a girl whose only desire is to master the blade.
