“Record of Ragnarok” hasn’t been on Netflix long, but it’s already proving to be a hit. Netflix had made the first season available on June 17, 2021, and some fans have already binge-watched the series and are eager to learn what happens next for the show’s central characters.
The fantasy-action series transforms a fairly high-concept premise into a traditional martial arts tournament. The anime takes place in the realm of Gods. Every 1000 years, a meeting takes place here under the leadership of Zeus and several other ancient deities. They will decide the fate of humanity at this meeting. But this time, the Gods have decided unanimously that humanity must end.
However, before this mandate is enacted, Brunhild, one of the 13 demigod Valkyries, requests that mankind be given a fighting chance for survival. As a result, she proposes a one-on-one battle between 13 men and gods to determine mankind’s fate.
Confident in their strength, the Council of Gods accepts the tournament. Then Brunhild sets forth to assemble history’s 13 strongest human beings. But knowing that the humans may still be no match to the Gods, the Valkyries create a pact, Völundr. This would allow the Valkyries to transform into the preferred weapons of the human fighters.
When will Record of Ragnarok Season 2 be released?
The first season of “Record of Ragnarok” contains many incredible fights, but the show leaves viewers hanging at the end. “Record of Ragnarok” was renewed for a second season in August 2021. However, we still don’t know when the new season will be released; we’re hoping sooner rather than later. Record of Ragnarok should be released sometime in Late 2022 to Early 2023.
“Record of Ragnarok” is based on Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui’s manga of the same name, which is also ongoing. As a result, the anime may wish to ensure that it closely follows the story from which it is adapted.
Which characters could appear in Record of Ragnarok Season 2?
