Reincarnated as a Sword, popularly known as Tenken is a Japanese light novel of which an anime television is to be aired soon. The novel is written by Yuu Tanaka. Illustrations have been worked upon by Llo. The novel followed its publication in October 2015. The publication took place on the website designed for a web novel called Shosetsukani Naro. The light novel also followed a manga series. Seven Seas Entertainment- an American publishing Company has licensed the manga in North America for release.

Fran, the cat-girl also forms a part of this caravan. She also fights under the caravan and seeks Master. Together, their journey hence starts.

It has been confirmed that an anime television season will follow the manga, which will be released in October 2022. No specific date has been mentioned. C2C- a Japanese animation Studio will be looking after the publication. Shinji Ishihira will be looking after the direction.
