As the new Godzilla film’s release date nears, fans worldwide are bursting with excitement. Many express their love for the film series through their art, such as Nick Wolfe and Jade Larforest, a couple living in Oxfordshire, UK. As thick layers of snow covered the entirety of the UK this week, this couple made fair use of the same by paying tribute to the magnificent kaiju. They built a snow sculpture of Godzilla using some of their incredible talents in their front yard, and people were baffled to see it.
How the couple built such a beautiful piece
Although Nick was new to seeing so much snow at once, Jade works in the UK as a professional body paint artist, and the two combined their skills to present this Snowzilla to us! The couple used butter knives and body paint to fine-tune their sculpture, creating an incredibly detailed carving of the radioactive lizard. Given that it was made of snow, it did not last very long, but fans were happy to witness and pay homage to this beautiful creation before it did and get something to soothe them as they eagerly wait for the film.

Who is Godzilla?
Godzilla is known for its gigantic stature, extreme strength, and most importantly as the monster’s king. While humans have tried for years to destroy him, they have failed to understand that he is the only one that can protect them from threats posed to them by other, more dangerous monsters that wish to wreak havoc. His role is to rise from the depths of the ocean whenever things go too out of control and restore balance. ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ will see the kaiju battling it out with another titan- King Kong- and will hit the theatres this year on March 26th.
