Silent Hill Merch About To Hit Konami’s Website!

Those of you who have been wondering why Konami has yet to add Silent Hill items to their eShop, which opened earlier this year, have had your prayers answered. After multiple hints from the shop’s official Twitter account, they’ve officially confirmed that we’ll be getting a slew of Silent Hill-themed merchandise later this week.

One such brand new item is a Limited-Edition skateboard deck portraying one of the nurses from the original game, which is only available at the shop. The pre-order period begins on June 23rd.

We’ll simply have to wait and see what happens next. However, some fans have received a newsletter announcing the arrival of Silent Hill merchandise, which includes photographs of pillows, hoodies, hats, and t-shirts.

And, of course, the biggest issue at hand is whether or not all of this is leading up to a huge unveiling for the franchise. The rumour mill is still working, as it always is. But, until Konami provides us something, we’ll have to keep crossing our fingers.

Silent Hill is a Japanese horror media property based on a series of survival horror video games designed by Keiichiro Toyama and produced and released by Konami’s subsidiary Konami Digital Entertainment. There are a total of ten video games in the franchise. The Silent Hill franchise has grown to include a variety of print works, two feature films, and video game spin-offs. The game series has sold over 8.4 million copies globally as of 2013.

The series’ namesake fictional American town is the setting for Silent Hill. The player characters are largely “everymen,” and the series is heavily influenced by the literary genre of psychological horror.

The much loved and played game also has rumours circling about resurrecting a cancelled game however, only time can tell and all we can do is wait patiently.
