    New Slasher ‘The Welder’ Is All Set For Release At Popcorn Frights

    Check out the trailer for THE WELDER, which will have its world premiere on August 15th at Popcorn Frights! When The Welder makes its international premiere at the Popcorn Fright Film Festival in August, it’ll be a vacation from Hell replete with social horror cliches.

    David Liz directs The Welder, based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Manuel Delgadillo. Vincent De Paul, Roe Dunkley, and Camila Rodrguez star in the film.

    The 7th annual Popcorn Frights Film Festival will be on in between August 12th to 19th. You can now purchase tickets for the world premiere of The Welder. A percentage of the festival’s proceeds will go to individuals affected by the building collapse in Surfside, Florida.

    The plot follows a young couple who head to the Everglades to help relieve their anxiety and bring them closer together in this ambitious and unnerving Florida-set horror thriller.     In 2015 Popcorn Frights Film Festival was founded by Miami residents Marc Ferman and Igor Shteyrenberg. It went on to become the Southeast United States’ largest international genre film festival.
