This Spine-chilling Story About A Killer Who Hides Inside His Victim’s Body Is A Brilliant Art-piece

A myth remains a myth until people begin to believe it. That is when it turns into a reality. And, of course, myths have the potential to reveal truths that the human mind would otherwise dismiss as unimaginable. What if we told you that there is a tale that began in India but has terrorized people in the United States? How are things going for everyone? Marvelous Videos is back with a new horror movie video.

If you are seeking a story with a lot of gore and blood, you have come to the correct place. In today’s video, we will take a look at an episode from the enduring television series The X-Files. Have you started to become excited yet? The X-Files is a science fiction television series that aired on the Fox Broadcasting Company network in the United States. It covers the professional lives of two FBI special agents, Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson), who are both played by David Duchovny. They are in charge of researching X-Files cases, which are weird and unresolved cases including supernatural or paranormal elements.

The majority of the series is made up of stand-alone cases investigated by Scully, a medical doctor, and Mulder, a psychologist, and criminal profiler. They comprise an excellent team of agents. However, after the seventh season, Duchovny left the show in a semi-retired state. Dana Scully was then paired with a new agent. And he is played by Robert Patrick as John Doggett. Badlaa is the tenth episode of Season 8, and it is the episode we are about to watch.

The episode’s title translates to “revenge” in Hindi, and there is no mistake about it because that is exactly what will happen in this episode. Badlaa is, to put it gently, the most frightening narrative you will ever read. This episode portrays just what evil is and what it takes with it wherever it goes, with a great deal of bodily horror.

It is full of mysticism, purity, and once-in-a-lifetime gore. Oh, and there were a lot of deaths, too. But how did Scully get mentally damaged in the first place? So, let us investigate the story and find out.

Are you keeping an open mind? Badlaa

Are you keeping an open mind Badlaa

The episode begins at Sahar International Airport in Mumbai, India. An obese American businessman, Mr Potocki is minutes away from boarding his flight back home to America. He is met by a paraplegic beggar, to whom he gives 50 paise and walks away. Later, when using the airport’s restroom, Mr. Potocki is dragged out of the cubicle by that same beggar, who from the looks of it, seems rather weak in stature but somehow managed to do that.

Now, after a while, in Washington, DC, Mr. Potocki checks into a hotel and after he sits on the bed, he loses a ton of blood from underneath his abdomen. Even his eyes turn blood red and he dies. So, it would appear that unexplainable things have already started happening. We are then met by John Doggett and Dana Scully at the crime scene because this case has a lot of unanswered questions. They spot a blood-soaked handprint beside Mr. Potocki’s dead body that appears to be that of a child.

But of course, no one can even imagine that a child could be capable of doing something so ghastly. On the other hand, we see a man applying for a janitorial position at Fairmont Elementary School in Cheverly, Maryland. It turns out that this man is actually the beggar in disguise but for some reason to his boss he appears as a regular white man. In the morgue, Scully confirms the significant stomach damage that was done to the man, which causes Doggett to assume that he might have been a smuggler and that drugs were forcibly removed from him.

But the man’s blood tests revealed no evidence of drugs within his body, and Scully deduced his time of death to be around 24 to 36 hours before they found the body, which would mean that he died before he left Bombay. Now, we are taken back to that elementary school, where two students, Quinton, played by Jordan Warkol and Trevor, played by Michael Welch, are engaged in a fight.

The beggar man still disguised as the janitor watches this fight as Quinton’s father comes to the rescue. At the FBI headquarters, the agents have discovered an old case that seems to have the same MO as that of Mr Potocki. The major clue they get here is that the person’s weight somehow increased after death. So, due to this weight discrepancy, Scully believes that perhaps whatever killed these men, was like a passenger in their bodies with small hands.

Later at Quinton’s house, he sees the legless beggar in his room but his father thinks that it was just an imagination. Later, his screams are heard and when Quinton goes down, he sees that his father is dead and his eyes are pouring with blood. So it appears that we have another similar death in which the beggar man is somehow involved. While investigating this latest death, the police inform Doggett and Scully about the odd man that Quinton saw.

So, other than the eyes, it looks like there is no other damage to the body, which makes Scully think that the man might still be inside this dead body. She goes to the morgue, where she discovers that the boy’s father has a swollen stomach. Upon cutting into him, a hand starts to come out of the scalpel wound. The episode has definitely started to take a turn for the worse. There is a blood trail that goes towards the storage closet. Scully follows it and opens the door, bracing herself for anything, but there is no one there. As the beggar sits there, watching her, he has somehow become invisible to Scully.

At the school, Trevor spots the janitor and it appears as if he is able to see the beggar’s face on the janitor’s body as if it were transparent. However odd this might seem; it is quite clear that the beggar has a hold over the janitor’s body. At this point, the agents are ready to follow any lead that they get in order to solve these murder cases. So, they consult Chuck Burks who is an old friend of Fox Mulder.

He tells them that there is a myth that involves the Siddhi mystics from India. They have certain powers which might explain the reality of these murders. Now even though we never get to meet Mulder in this episode, the fact that Scully misses her partner is never hidden from us. In their working relationship, Mulder has always been more of a believer. And Scully wants to pursue this case in exactly the way that Mulder would. Soon after, Scully and Doggett finally discover the Badlaa aspect of the story.

In Vishi, a village just outside of Mumbai, there is an American chemical facility. They seem to have found substantial evidence that just a while ago, the plant accidentally discharged a small cloud of methyl isocyanate gas. This incident killed over 118 people from the village. Scully has come across one such casualty, an 11-year-old son of a holy man who is from the beggar caste. Although there is no certainty if this father is in fact our beggar man, Scully is definitely trying to keep an open mind.

After some time, the beggar man returns to the screen as he follows Trevor on his way home. The kid is pretty terrified. After reaching home, his mother follows him outside and she sees that he’s drowning, face down in the pool. She jumps in to save him, but then Trevor suddenly turns into the beggar man. Clearly, this is yet another trick done by him. So, now you know what must have happened after this.

Doggett and Scully arrive at the crime scene and although this murder does not have a lot in common with the previous one, it did occur three blocks from Quinton’s house. Trevor then reveals to Scully that it was the little man who killed his mother. After that, Quinton and Trevor devise a plan to track down the beggar at the school. But Quinton ends up getting himself in danger and it looks like the beggar is about to kill him when luckily Scully arrives at the scene just in time.

Unfortunately, Quinton can see the real form of the beggar, but to Scully, he appears as Trevor. It is clear that she has to make a tough call at this moment because, to her eyes, she has to shoot a 6th-grade kid. She manages to trust Quinton’s eyes and shoots at the person standing in front of her. Turns out, it was actually the beggar man himself. And so, it looks like the string of murders has finally come to an end, but wait, what just happened?

The episode ends back at the Sahar International Airport, two weeks later where we once again see the beggar watching another obese American businessman walk by.

Well, now that you have seen how terrifying the beggar man is, let us find out some more crucial information about him in detail.

Beggar Man – An Indian Mystic with Siddhi Powers

Beggar Man - An Indian Mystic with Siddhi Powers

Badlaa was born out of John Shiban’s inspiration from the stories of Indian fakirs. These fakirs are ascetic masters who perform acts of self-torture in order to achieve enlightenment. And of course, they have some special powers of their own. They are referred to as the Siddhi Mystics, a rather mysterious and powerful order of fakirs. And that is the legacy of our beggar man. Their occult powers are passed down from fathers to sons, which leads to each generation gaining more and more power.

These powers allow the beggar man to take control of someone’s mind. It also lets him twist others’ perceptions of his appearance, and become invisible. He had no legs, so he would use just a little cart on which he travelled by pushing himself forward with his hands. He also has the power to possibly transform himself into a form as tiny as an atom. This would explain how he entered the bodies of his victims.

After killing them, he uses their dead bodies as walking corpses for himself, allowing him to go wherever he wants and then the exit of his own free will. This would also amount to all the blood loss endured by Mr. Potocki. The Siddhi powers allow the mystics to completely vanish from your sight in a room when in reality, they are right in front of you. That is what happened to Dana Scully when she tried to follow the blood trail from the dead body of Quinton’s father.

The beggar man also has the power to entirely disguise himself as practically anyone. As we see him take multiple different forms like the janitor and Trevor. Although one drawback of this power could be the fact that when he is in possession of someone else’s body and has disguised himself as that person, he does not speak. Not a single word was uttered from his mouth.

At first, it did not quite make sense as to why the beggar man was killing the people that he was killing. Scully further investigated this matter when Burks told her that in fact, these siddhi mystics are known to be extremely religious men. It is because according to them, their powers originate directly from the divine. Now, this will obviously bring up the question of whether they dare to use these powers for something as evil as murder. Because if they did, it would serve as a conflict in their beliefs and probably abuse the very foundation of ascetic life.

Which means that it would put their souls eternally in danger. But there is one great explanation for it. And that is revenge. Even though the reason behind the killings of the beggar man was never officially clear, the loss of the 118 lives at Vishi, and in particular that 11-year-old boy, could most likely be the motive behind it.

Deep Roy portrayed the role of the beggar man. And surely want brilliant acting on his part. One of the most terrifying things about this episode was the fact that there exists a kind of power that can allow you to literally enter inside a person’s body and operate it like a robot then come out of that body in the most disgusting way possible.

Badlaa is an episode that is sickening in every aspect, but that is also the same feature that makes it worthy of horror praise. So, what are you waiting for? If you have not watched this episode yet, head directly to The X-Files Season 8, Episode 10.
